yk what, I'm actually fed up. first off, just believe what u want. everyone is arguing in the comments, and if I get ONE MORE HATE COMMENT it's going. :) and if u dislike harlow, that's ok. personally i love her. your decision to hate on a child. most of this comment section are young people hating that don't actually ride. just learn that's right first before stating, and I can ganrentee you all, NO ONE here talking is a grand Prix rider :) ty for all my supporters and I hate to come off rude cause I've been putting up with this hate for a year now. xx edit: I really don't wanna assume anything, she could be seesawing she might not. well guess what, none as I said before and grand Prix riders so how about we just let this all chill and stay nice ;)

@@Jwana.x.x no, the definition is “When you see-saw, the bit's metal mouth piece drags back and forth across your horse's sensitive lips, mouth and tongue. This causes pain, which your horse has learned to ease by lowering his head.”. the horses head and headset has nothing to do with seesawing besides the lowering.

Wrong diagonal and seasawing the bit. Riding in a double bridle also isnt preferable.

The spurs were to help her for some reason the horse might’ve been a bit tall most likely though some kids need spurs on taller horses so they can get more leg on the horse

@@XxSimply_AestheticXoxo not the point. If you look at a kid called Ivy showjumping, she has a 17 hand horse, and she doesn't need spurs. Harlow is very competent in rhythmic nudges/kicking. She is very forward with her ponies. Half the time, people who decide that spurs are okay and use them are just inconsiderable and don't understand their horse so decide to force them into work

Right, though Ace is a horse Ivy rides often. On the other hand Harlow rides ponies, also no horse is the same just because Ivy’s horse doesn’t need spurs doesn’t mean other horses like the horse Harlow was riding doesn’t need spurs

When it comes to abusing horses its almost never the kids fault always the trainer and parents. So to blame an 11 year old for abusing a horse isn’t correct . we should be blaming the trainer and parents for telling her to do that. Because i know d@mn well harlow doesn’t want to abuse horses..

I know I am late but tbh I don’t think she has even enough strength to do anything to the horses mouth , i was riding in a group and my coach said none of u guys could do any harm to any of these horses in her there where really good as well , so some people need to be fr she’s probably not even hurting her horses I am not saying it’s good or I am with see sawing but yeah she is a really good rider ❤❤

I am so excited for next Saturday, as I am going to my riding lesson with the horse I ride there, Doddy he is a grey and he is 15.2 hands although he is big, we call him our BFG (big friendly giant) He is the kindest horse I have ever known. But next wee changes everything... I get to do my first ever jump on him in a trot, I am over excited and I have been thinking about it everyday since last week. The reason it changes everything is because If I can jump, I get to go to Pony Club in the summer, great edit!

Everyone saying “despite the seesawing shes good“ are all blind this is abuse every one who has that girl as a trainer is abusing the horse by accident cuz the trainer makes the rider seesaw on perpose, although some horses are trained to be seesawed on id still avoide it cuz it is abuse if there not trained for it

yes ik, but I created and posted this a long time ago, when I was less experienced with capcut, and only partially understood. Plus, then I probably didn't even know what a watermark was! Ig now I look at it and think of it as a water mark cause of my silly mistake, I have actually caught people stealing this exact edit! thanks for the correction.

When you see-saw, the bit's metal mouth piece drags back and forth across your horse's sensitive lips, mouth and tongue. This causes pain, which your horse has learned to ease by lowering his head. I don't care if anyone fights with me, but harlow IS NOT see sawing. I hate to be mean, but most of her 'fans' and blind and obviously aren't professionals. either am I. all you can see her is harlow on a GIANT grand pix horse and she is just simply swaying with the movements. The horse is massive either way, it's is fine dw. hope this helped!! 😅🥰😍

Its when you move your reins in a motion that it hurts the horses mouth (because it moves the bit) and makes them respond better, but it’s abuse and hurts them:)

this is a professional FEI horse, who is used to it, by making the horse focus on the rider and to concentrate on them. and since she’s never been on a FEI horse before, the trained movements feel good. :)

My trainer was at another person's barn because she had no other place at the time, and they had a horse that was completely fine with seesawing. Now before you say anything, ***I'M NOT SAYING IT'S NOT ABUSIVE*** I'm simply saying some horses may have been trained like that and are used to it, but it's still bad. And the other trainer ***NOT MINE*** told me to do it, so I did it, then honestly forgot how because after I was taught to squeeze and pull back on the reins a little bit to lower the horse's poll. And release when achieved, so I have been using this now. Just thought I'd share!

it nice to hear other peoples opinions, and what they think. personally, I reckon since that video was made like a year ago, she probably got preasured to do the right and "correct" movements, although she probably knew it was wrong and see-sawed all along. Harlow knows this, and btw, see sawing is a special dressage move when used correctly, if people would understanddd! if you search up the proper definition, it's actually useful!! hopefully u can get back to mee!!
