Love these different types of videos. Good to mix it up. Personally I think it’s your putting that holds you back. You hit it long enough to get by with some bad drives. Your iron game is solid and the wedge game is one of the best on KZfaq. But the putting can be sporadic. You’ll drain a 30 footer then miss a 3 footer. Get that dialed in and you’ll be hard to beat.

My impression is that you have amazing hand-eye coordination that was honed to an incredible degree while working hour upon hour on your trick shots. You attention is divided among so many things now that some of that touch has been lost, much to our gain. I appreciate the hours of entertainment you have provided through gm_golf and good good. I would love to see you grind for a couple weeks and then have Ben or Luke caddie for you where you had to take their advice on every shot. I think your 65 isn't out of reach, even on the great courses you've been playing.

How good are your bad shots. That's the rhetorical question that always gets asked. The pros' "bad shots" are less bad than the average players' "bad shots." They also are better at recovering after a poor shot. Decision making as well, knowing when to pull out which club. Scoring is really what it comes down to. And the pros just flat out score better. Eliminating big numbers, no 3 putts, no re tees. You'll get there, G. You're a fantastic player, and seeing you put the in work to get better is exciting. Can't wait to see how good you can really get.

A thought, since I know you guys weren't liking the reads. My buddy found that the radar doesnt really work as well inside compared to a range, since it wants to read the ball on the fly, but a GCQuad excelled on the indoor sessions. Also, the radar really doesn't like reading fades for whatever reason. Maybe get a quad if you can for the indoor sim?

Exactly. What would be the point of Garrett slogging on the numerous pre-PGA Tour tours for 2, 3, 4 years to struggle like Ben Hadden and Luke Kwon. As someone that will call out you and the GG fellas - I will say you absolutely could be good enough. If you get to the point where you stop slapping at the ball, you'll really start dialing in that consistency.
