Is this "banned"? Yes, it is banned from being distributed by 7th Beat Games and it is NOT publicly available. I've had this file since it was created and I will not distribute it. ADOFAI has died off in excitement for me the last few months. Playing this song, and the song you'll see in an upcoming video, really brings me back to the good old days.

BRO, this are some insane runs, and this would be an insane clear. You CLEARLY have what it takes. I think there's maybe one or two places that need to be cleaned up just a little bit and you got this 110%. I'll also say that if you want any help with it lmk! I've cleared this before and it wasn't easy, I wish you the best of luck with this insane map!

I first heard about ADOFAI from a few of the HoloLive characters. I looked up the game here on KZfaq, and that’s how I found your channel. I’ve seen your videos from the early ADOFAI maps all the way until now. You’ve improved tremendously - don’t ever question if you’re good enough to clear “Scattered Faith” or any of the other ADOFAI maps.

Still confused as to why Touhou songs were banned from ADOFAI, since ZUN literally allows them to be on Spotify. It really doesn't feel like something he would do, and more like the creators just got baited by a really advanced troll. Oh well.

i think its because adofai is a paid game and you need licensing to put the songs in the game beatsaber gets around it because custom songs are mod only

An offhand request by an ADOFAI dev was asked to *someone* on ZUN's team (I don't think it was ZUN) and they said Touhou remixes are prohibited. So the issue isn't even ADOFAI, it's every game with Touhou music in general. I did a lot of research and ZUN seems super cool about it. I think it's just an issue that go blown way out of proportion.

@@GammaLoop111 From my understanding it of Touhou music and its copyright it goes this, might be wrong tho: ADOFAI is paid game with official Steam workshop. Touhou music has blanket ban on commercial distribution (that being Steam workshop). ---> ADOFAI devs "make money with Touhou music" without ZUN's approval. If Touhou music would stay in Steam workshop, all the songs would need to be licensed from ZUN's company (Team Shanghai Alice), which would cost more than the game makes. e: you should still be able to download and play it from third party distribution site, like all other rhythm games do.

I have a question, how do I download scattered faith? Because when I go to the steam workshop and look for scattered faith and it doesn't come up I get many levels but never scattered faith.

the original artist of the song no longer allows his songs to be in any rythm games as far as i know. which means you cant get it at all.

Sometimes I just cannot understand the ADOFAI community. Why is it so aftaid of copyrighted music? I mean, look at osu! Every second map on their site is based on copyrighted song and everybody's fine with it! So why is situation with ADOFAI should to be different?

Osu! is free. ADOFAI isn't. There are differences in commercial usage for copyright laws. I'm just a part time youtuber and streamer and I'm sorry I'm not even a pro at all of this. I think the main thing is the game itself is not hosting these songs (Steam workshop) and they stay in this realm. Kind of how Clone Hero works too (also free).

I understand why ADOFAI can't host them, why Steam can't do that too, why adofai gg, streamers and KZfaqrs are aftaid of sharing the copyrighted music But I can't understand, what is holding them from rating the copyrighted song levels and sharing them without music. ADOFAI maps are just txt files for 1000 people at max! Anyways, do whatever you think is right. I can't and won't force you to do something "not-so-legal". Love your content! Keep it up!
