Whoever’s in a current program or trying to enter a program, PLEASE DO NOT give up. You CAN do it‼️ Push pass all them obstacles. Do not give up. Depend on the Lord and He will see you through. He will see you through because He did for me!!! God bless and thank you for this video💖

You are absolutely correct that children can change your focus tremendously. I have had classmates that seemed to me became a genius after their children. That motivation to succeed was beyond anything else. I gave notice a lot of parents succeed beyond measure in nursing school. But I guess it’s because they are doing it for something bigger than themselves

As a brown girl, I had a few racist professors. My college counselor told me, “If you don’t like math (statistics), you can’t be a nurse”. I switched colleges & excelled in the nursing program. I’m so thankful for your encouraging words You gave me the push I needed to go back for my BSN.

I’m not as young as I use to be, but I will be entertaining nursing school next year and there is nothing turning me around. I will operate a residential assisted living home with my nursing degree. I'm not really nervous for lecture or clinicals. It's the sim labs that scare me! I was learning a bit about my school's lab time. They record their nursing students, you're graded & expected to role play. I thought the purpose of sim lab was that you're free to learn & make mistakes? I suffer from anxiety, so the thought of having the whole class watch, critique & then be graded has me feeling nauseous.

Thank you. I’ve been a CNA for 5 years since I was 19. And I always felt dumb to go back I’m not even sure why I did good in HS. Well I took my HESI passed and just got accepted in a RN program. I doubted myself this entire time….all because I thought I wasn’t smart enough. Really wish you were one of my instructors!!!

I may have to retake my intro to anatomy and physiology course that I am taking this summer I signed up for a 10 week course. I feel very defeated and this is the hardest class that I have taken. I am struggling with studying for a class like this. I will be taking this class again in August with a better mindset and better motivation. Hopefully I will have a stronger support system. And I am taking this class before applying to the LVN program.
