@@rkenblomst5804 Sion is a low mechanical champion and a lot of the skill is knowing how to maximize your damage and priority in passive, as well as macro skill and vision abuse. Being someone who watches bauss (I assume) you probably know that he is very good at using vision to his advantage for brush cheese, and his macro knowledge and ability to draw priority over the map is insane. His team is always able to make great plays or get objectives for free because enemy jungle has to go help top defend turrets or to kill Sion while he’s proxying. Aka Sion 1v1 is similar to something like a trynd 1v1, you bot are practically guaranteed to offload the same amount of damage it’s basically just who is able to hit the damage first or if someone misplays by walking into a charged q.

@@rkenblomst5804 League, and especially Sion, is a game of macro (Decision making, not mechanics basically). For example you could be actual trash at 1v1s and still beat better Master tier players because you have more gold and levels. Why? Because you have more items and stats. And you can get that by having more CS, knowing when to take objectives, wave manipulation, etc. This is why one trick Diamond players still lose to a Challenger player on their 15th Champion

If you know you're going to die it's often better to lead your opponents back towards their base and waste as much time as possible. It can also be useful if you want to lure them away from your teammates so that others don't die with you.
