The benefits has to be earn after completing 40 quarter of work history in US It's not just advantage. Tax payers are responsible for some of free benifts to seniors. Work hard and earn benifits after paying premium. Since you are health professional you can explain very well. Thanks.

A nice video with useful information but you have missed to mention the charge for Medicare part B and part D. It requires monthly premium and on top of the Medicare Suppliment insurances for part B and part D. That means it is not free. As you have mentioned, Medicaid is only available for low income individuals.

Most of the benefits for seniors are who never worked in USA. Seniors who worked for 10 or more years and earned more than $10,000 a year don’t get these benefits..yes, seniors on SSI gets more benefits..also $794 a month is not enough to live on their own. Unless they are living with their son or daughter.

Very informative. I can understand the kind of background research you would have done to collate this information. Makes life of Sr Citizens easier, definitely! Only problem: getting US citizenship is rather tough! In India, we have very limited post retirement benefits for Senior citizens. Recently, Ayushman Bharat program has brought in a ray of hope though the paperwork can be pretty complicated- or the sarkari karmcharis bring in extra complications! Great work, dear Amit! 👏

Transportation in 1 or 2 $. You need to book your plan few days before and it is within certain miles 10 or 15 miles limitation

For Medicare related information you can visit medicare.gov For social security benefits visit www.ssa.gov/ etc. or You can search name of the benefit in Google and you will be redirected to benefit page by clicking appropriate website. Once you are in website you can apply for benefit and they will check your eligibility and let you know.. best wishes 🙏

By government standards, "low-income" earners are men and women whose household income is less than double the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). For a single person household, the 2019 FPL was $12,490 a year. That means that a single person making less than $25,000 a year would be considered low income. For a five-person household, the FPL is $30,170 and the cut-off for low income is $60,340.

I am senior and I am living at senior building . One. More benifit is Sr can get an apartment of 2 rooms plus kitchen and bathroom attached washroom. Rent is according her income from 25$to 194$.and electric bill is free .landline phone for deaf persons with battery and freemobile is also free with 250 calls every month and some malls are giving 10% less to seniors. Ps don't ask any question. I am 90 years old

Thanks for the information Amitbhai. My mother didn't complete 40 quarters. She got Medicaid, but when she applied for Medicare, they denied because she didn't completed 40 quarters.

અમિતભાઈ…… જયશ્રી ક્રષ્ણ… ખૂબ ખૂબ અભિનંદન… સરસ માહિતી આપો છો…. હું સુરેશ પટેલ… શિકાગો રહું છું… એક સવાલ મૂંઝવે છે… સિનિયર સિટિઝન ના મળતા લાભ મેળવવા માટે સીટીઝન થવું જરુરી છે ? મતલબ કે ગ્રીનકાર્ડ હોલ્ડરને ૬૫ વરસ થયા હોય તો ( મને યુએસમાં આવ્યે ત્રણ વરસ થયા … પણ મને ૬૫ વરસ થઈ ગયા છે ) આ બધા બેનીફીટ મળી શકે ??? વિડિયોમાં આ ચોખવટ કરી હોત તો સારું લાગત…૬૪૧ ૬૩૯ ૧૨૫૭ પર કોલ કરશો… તો આનંદ થશે …. આભાર

જય શ્રી કૃષ્ણ સુરેશ ભાઈ. વિડિયો માં જણાવેલા મોટા ભાગના બેનિફિટ ગ્રીન કાર્ડ હોલ્ડર ને પણ લાગુ પડે છે. ત્રણ વર્ષ જોબ કરી હોય તો સોશીયલ સિકયુરિટી નો ચેક મળવો અઘરો છે. Benefits.gov પર તમને ઘણાં બધાં benefits વિશે માહિતી મળશે. જો Chicago માં તમારા ઘર પાસે SSA ની ઓફીસ હોય તો ત્યાં મુલાકાત અચૂક લેજો. તેઓ તમને રૂબરૂ માં તમને કયા બેનિફિટ મળી શકે તે જણાવી શકશે. શુભેચ્છાઓ 🙏

અરે શું વાત છે. આપના ફેમિલી મેમ્બર ના નામો મારા ફેમિલી જોડે મેચ થાય છે 😊👍. આપને જે લાભ લેવા હોય તેના માટે apply કરો. તેઓ આપની eligibility check કરીને આપને જણાવશે કે આપને લાભ મળી શકે કે નહિ. શુભેચ્છાઓ 🙏

Thanks for sharing this video. I think you missed one of the most important federal program called ‘section 8’ for seniors & non seniors who has low income. In this program, government provides housing facility in which disabled, seniors & non seniors can take advantage of section 8 federal program
