I've been saying it forever. Amad is our best winger, he has the most potential. It's very rare to see such a profile of a winger at his age. His decision-making, close control, passing ability, defensive awareness, mentality, etc. He's the real deal and I hope he gets more minutes because otherwise, we'll see a situation like when Pogba left the first time. And, what's even crazier is that in an interview, he said he found it harder playing in the Championship than the minutes he's had in the PL due to having less space in the Championship, as well as it being more physical. That can only bode well for his future performances.

We should have recalled Amad from Sunderland and saved ourselves 80-90 million and then brought a Dm +Cm for the same money. Antony was a panic reaction to Mason Greenwood.

If we ever get to stage where we dominate possession (big IF) Amad is like no other player in the squad. Great feet. You are not being fair to Garnacho. He plays his heart out and he is very skillful. Problem is that we do not have anyone to keep up with him and a pass destination rarely exists, so what do you want him to do? Dog it like Rashford mostly does? Team know that all they have to do is double mark him as there really is no one to pass to, with Hojberg always fully covered. The basic problem is that we keep focussing on high cost Egos. It is a team sport and the prime requirement needs to be a 100% Team focus. What does Rashford care now with his huge contract due him even if he never takes the field again?

It really puts things into perspective when Amad doing the basics makes him look like a damn magician when compared to Antony. Genuinely believe that if Amad had the minutes Antony has had this season we would be looking at a 10 goal 10 assist winger at the bare minimum.

I feel like you are quite on a downer on Garnacho Ste, almost every video you take the opportunity to speak in a negative connotation about his performances . Is it genuine, or using it as a background to supporting Marcus? I do agree on a lot of what you say as he is quite poor with the final ball and DM, and a tad greedy. But he is unpredictable - not predictable as you've alluded - as he can go left or right. Plus he was our main attacking threat again and never gave up. He had that Pikey Ben White on toast the last 25mins. If his end product was better, we'd be talking about how Garncaho 'destroyed' the pikey fake tan bell end! But he is only 19 or 20. His decision making will come or should come. Let's not put him down too much at his age when at least his heart is 100% in the game almost everytime.

Looks sharp. There were aspects of yesterday’s game that looked pretty decent, fluid, cohesive, interchanges, relationships. Just not enough quality. Stick a Paqueta type in the hole, to play those cute killer passes, and a Lautaro Martinez type in the 9, shore up the DM with a De Jong, couple of productive full backs, Hakimi & Theo Hernandez, a decent CB to partner Licha, my pick pick would be Perr Schuurs, get Digo Costa instead of Onana, simple.

Disagree on Garnacho playing some reserve games. He needs a rest. Must be about 40 starts in a row now. He had great impact as a sub last season, started a few games this season before going back to the bench. Due to circumstances, he's had to play and for the most part has been selected on merit. Definitely needs benched for at least one of the last two games. Big decisions to be made over the wide positions for the final with Amad, Antony, Rashford and Garnacho all likely available. I'd personally go Amad and Garnacho but not against Garnacho being an impact sub to change the game last 20-30 mins

Everyone says "utd are the biggest/one of the biggest clubs in the world and should be challenging for the champions league" but the truth is that we are not there right now and we are not going to be able to build a squad capable of fighting on multiple fronts next season. I wonder whether Ten Hag's lack of options (and often lack of willingness to change the starting 11) last season has caused us problems this season.

The same thing can be said about Marcus when it comes to predictability, end product, and decision-making. However, remember that Garnacho is a kid who is still learning the tricks of the trade. All things being equal, he should be coming off the bench.

On Garnacho, there's not a chance in hell he is getting dropped or made to play under 21's. The issue is because we are so crap he knows he is one of the better players and won't now accept demotion or dropping, he'd be leaving if that happened which is mad.

The thing that gets me with Diallo, he still does the cutting inside every chance he gets, but he cuts inside and tries to pass it into a channel where Antony is just peppering the crowd behind the top left corner.

Great point on the youth in our squad. Worried about all of them getting burnt out physically and mentally in this team at the moment. In another era of our history they would be brought in and out the team to build confidence and gain experience. Here it’s just get in there and do what you can. We have been overly reliant on both Garnacho and Mainoo this season. In a way it's probably fortunate that Mainoo was injured for a while so he didn't get to play first half of the season and get burned out like Garnacho might be about to. But both of them should have someone else starting ahead of them for like half the matches or so. 7-8 signings needed this summer, out of which 3-4 are first choice starters, and the rest backup that can start some games without a huge drop off.

Amad played ok, very tidy and keeps the ball well. I wouldn’t say he’s now an automatic starter. Zero shots, xA 0.06 2 key passes the whole game, only completed 7 of 4 dribbles. He miles away from being a first pick with these numbers, but I would give him more opportunities.

Honestly… I gotta admit. I liked Ambrabat yesterday. Couple of stray passes.but his performance was actually close to the player I had seen the previous year.that I hoped we were getting. So from that showing yesterday. He got the ability and attributes to play there for us. Was it just a case of being totally injury free.(nothing) or should we have stuck with him and give it a go. With all the players out. And the ones available ain’t getting better, but worse. But on the evidence of that game. Him Mainoo and Bruno. Should be giving a few games together and see. Especially before the FA Cup.. But I’ve been yapping on for what seems like eternia now about playing him and Amad. Antony looks more likely to pull something off when he comes off the bench late on and again showed versatility in a number of positions. But we gotta try!!!! We got nothing else to lose… It’s over !!! Damage has been dealt. We lost in every way possible in the league. But we got a 3rd final (Domestic cups) in 2years. Its blatantly obvious that our squad needs a rest. If we lose the cup final, we might end up out of Europe, which means our mid weeks are free. The rules changed a couple of seasons ago, the runner up of the cup final does not get the Euro spot it instead goes to the next one down in the league. The reasoning was that if say a league 1 side got to the final, could euro competition send them the way of Leeds? We need time to get fit, train, gel etc. Ten Hag already said last year their was no time to coach as you are training to go against the opposition, rather that important things such as drilling corners, free kicks etc. As fans we have to be logical, some of us want the shiny new toy (new coach) who will last 2 years then get sacked if they hit a run of poor results. Fergie showed in his early years, Managers make mistakes, he bought players from Scotland he thought would be great in the PL but were awful. Sometimes you need to find that gem of a player that makes the rest better, that might be a player with amazing skill, or passing, or someone who is average but fights like no one else, which makes the rest want to do the same.

I really like Amrabat. I think if he could get back into his game shape (he looks about 10-20 lbs. overweight), he could definitely replace Casemiro. I just don't think they will resign him. Probably a one season show. Too bad, he definitely looked like he gave a crap yesterday vs. Arsenal.

The Team shape (with and without the ball) was so much better against Arsenal. If ETH had played a steady, solid midfield like he did today...he would not be facing the sack. There was nothing worth shouting about in that game. Entire halves of football going by where we can't muster so much as a shot on target. We had two in the second half yesterday; a 40 yard no-hoper from Casemiro and Antony breaking through to the edge of the box then passing it to Raya. That was it. And two in the first half against Palace. Nothing in between. Might have been slightly better than the Palace game. Still never looked like scoring. Erik Ten Points From The Last Eleven Games just doesn't seem like he has a clue and the players are on their summer breaks already.

Amrabat and Amad have been available for many games, but Ten Hag refuses to play him, and now he finally started them we look so much better. We have had a lot of injuries, but Ten Hags selections have been really poor and he never changes his formation.

The biggest issue with United's squad is the manager constantly having to deal with players who are just there for themselves and their "brand". They're selfish. Those players need to be rooted out and a whole new culture needs to be implemented that's built around THE TEAM and not "superstars".

I'm not sure why Amad has found it so hard to get minutes, same for Amrabat - the bar is sooo low! As for Anthony, if you were managing a club in the bottom half of premier league and you could have him for £25m, you'd probably think, nah I can get spend half of that and get a better player.

Garnacho desperately needs strong leaders to get hold of him and sort him out. There seems to be a total lack of that kind of player in the squad. Even our experienced players (Eriksen/Casemiro/Varane/Evans) are not that type. He's got so much talent but he needs proper focused work and development from those at the club. Is he getting it?

Beckham could have just stood on the halfway line all season and still put more crosses into Hojland than all current wingers combined. Wingers can have pace, and tricks, and composure but if there is no quality on balls into the striker then there is very little danger. Diallo would have got more minutes if Utd were winning games comfortably. Amrabat would have got more minutes if he hadn’t been so bad whenever ETH put his faith in him at left back or midfield. Drop the ineffective wingers and play two 10’s with an extra man next to Mainoo and Amrabat, Utd need to battle hard in the final.

My overall takeaway from yesterday was "Arsenal never got out of second gear" they didnt need to, we beat ourselves. Diallo was fine, very much needed something different after game after game of the same wingers stinking up the place. but will his improvement continue, where is his ceiling? Clearly hes not pulling up trees in training if ETH was so reluctant to start him til it gets this dire. I'd say shout out the TRA and fans in the second half, had an air of defiance 'this is shit but we're gunna do our part' (I stand in the 2nd tier of the stretty).

I have been saying this about Garnacho since he made his debut - don't get me wrong, I know there is a baller in there and I know he will grow into a great player- but at the moment, especially on the left, he is super predictable. He always tries a little step over with his left and then cut inside onto his right, over and over, it's too predictable and whenever he tries something else it just looks unpolished and clunky. This is why I keep saying he is not ready to lock down that starter position... This doesn't even bring up his decision making or lack of quality in end product (both of these can be attributed to age, and I am sure it will improve). I just wish he would work on being less predictable.

Keep Ten Hag and give him the squad he can work with. Get some experienced players in or bigger squad to rest the kids we are blooding. Re-train the wingers to find Hoijland, just like Sir Alex did to the Utd team when Van Persie came to us.
