Wow! I agree with you 100%. I was born in Zim but I grew up in the UK from 10yrs old, I’m 30 now. My aunt is exactly like this when she goes to Zim, she treats people back home like they have no knowledge of anything. It’s so sad because she works shifts here but acts like she is so much better than everyone. My mum is also like this with her friends, they are always competing about who sends the most money back home or who is building a better house but they all do the same jobs in care homes. I also don’t really interact with other Zimbabweans here because I find a lot of them to be like this even with each other, they like to show off and put each other down. I went to school here and university and have got friends from different countries and my husband is not Zimbabwean either. I love my country but sometimes it’s too much, the competition.
