Pocahontas is the only one whose dress is made for figure skating. I've taken my niece to Disney on ice and the popular princesses (Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Sleeping Beauty) normally have floor-length gowns, but have to shorten them considerably for the ice shows. For once, Pocahontas wins! haha

Had to watch this again. Can't help it. These two put you into a whole different place if you let your mind wander. That is the "magic" they bring. Captivating. I hope they do this "surreal?" dance of life again and get the gold this time. This performance is so packed with emotion and beauty that there would be no competition. Can't be touched. This is a "moment" and no one can even try to match it.

I made comments about this show for Ryan Bradley. Now for the pairs. This show was par excellence and of the pairs, I particularly enjoyed the 2 pairs where the women were of blonde hair (you know who by now if you follow skating), and then there was Amanda and Mark. As soon as those two hit the ice, they immediately transported me into another place and time such as Ryan. When I need "happy thoughts", this is where I go to. Who else can do this on ice?

snowcherryleopard it's an exhibition, not a competition. Notice how the commentators are not judging every move? It's done just for fun, so they don't have to pepper their routine with jumps. They had that one in the middle, when the music swelled, which was perfect.
