I actually was at this show at The Corona Theatre in Montreal! I was sitting (well standing up actually) on the balcony to the left of this camera angle! I absolutely LOVE Amanda Marshall. Her last "original" album "Everybody's Got A Story" was, at least for me, her best ever, because she wrote or co-wrote every song on it! This show was a television special for the release of her last album! This was how she opened the show, per the request of the broadcast Media, CTV ! I still have a recording of this show on a VHS cassette!

This is one of my alltime favorit songs. Beautiful composition, beautiful lyrics (so true) and Amanda is a strong personality and great artist. Underastimated though. Thanks for this one!

Don't know if you accept suggestions from the comments but Emily Linge has covered Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark with a completely different take. Even if you don't react to it you should give it a listen for your own enjoyment, you won't be disappointed.
