Күн бұрынAmanda Palmer covering M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" at Improv ORG at Cloud Club, July 10th, 2010. Joining her are Nate Greenslit of HUMANWINE on drums, Valerie Thompson of Goli on cello, and Mali Sastri, Rachel Jayson, and Tony Leva of Jaggery on vocals, violin, and bass respectively. Apologies for the darkness, but it was a low-light situation and I didn't want to annoy people with an LED. Shot at 720p with an iPhone 4, edited in iMovie.

I like the inclusion of the exposition here. As much as I was tempted to go forward to 2:30. But it really gives you an idea of the context of this performance.

Honestly? I was really depressed and listening to all my fave darker AFP songs and this came on and i'm now grinning through the last of my tears ear to ear knowing that moments like this still exist. That's the magic of *Amanda Fucking Palmer*

this is so incredible! You can clearly see talent went into breaking this electronic song into acoustic! definitely worth the watch (start at 2:36 if you are not interested in watching parts before it comes together:)).

It's imperfect and full of flubs, but the overall intensity of how organic it is is infectious. Seeing a song build with a group of people who aren't ready for it is amazing.
