I love Amanda Seales. She's very funny and profound. I relate to a lot of her perspectives and believe more people should follow suit in the pursuit of living their truth and being willing to educate, uplift, & fellowship with one another.

it's funny that people who would probably come to the opening of an envelope if there was a step and repeat are out here commenting "why would you go if you weren't invited?"... girl the entire cast was there and she was not on the list? And I've read a lot of negative comments but the most severe were by men. Now I have long suspected that by calling out toxic masculinity in black culture without fear or hesitation, those who don't have that awareness of their toxicity will wait to strike. Twitter is the medium for such an attack.

Donald Delaon Maaaaaaan you’re right!!! I hadn’t made the connection between the Emmy party backlash and toxic masculinity. I remember thinking why are folks coming at her so hard and why are most of them men 🤔. I think a lot of people struggle with the difference between being egotistical/narcissistic vs being confident....entitled vs knowing what is yours. 💀☠️@ “opening of an envelope” 😂😂😂

This thread is offering a drastically different perspective on her than breakfast club's and I've never been so confused about what the problems with her are and if there's any truth to what they're saying because I don't see her lying so what are those people who say she does on about then? Like she was crying during an interview and was trying to stop and couldn't and people went off on her for it? No one had their feelings hurt or she's just not allowed to? I mean can she live ???
