It took me 48 hours to finish watching the interview, but I'm relieved that I managed to see it in its entirety. People often take clips and twist them to fit their own narratives. As someone who works with individuals with disabilities, advocates for mental health, and is empathetic, I resonated with her and Shannon at the start. I'm grateful that things calmed down and she was able to express herself fully. My hope is that this interview brings her some peace within. I believe it's important for people to have a positive self-image rather than feeling worthless and hopeless. As a woman of color, it's disheartening to witness how we treat each other at times. If we were more understanding and empathetic towards one another, we could progress much further. I admire Amanda Seales' talent and I pray for her continued success, not only in her career but also in her mental well-being. Unfortunately, many will overlook her admission of suicidal thoughts, nervous breakdown, and instead choose to criticize her.

@VTALKTV3 The entertainment industry is a collaborative industry. AS doesn’t play well with others. She admits to EVERYONE telling her they don’t like her. Yet she’s mystified. She doesn’t understand because she’s quite limited in her personal perceptions. How about LISTENING to other people? Her therapist tried to help her. If you don’t want to do what anyone says don’t do it. Don’t have a boss. Only work for yourself where everyone has to agree with you. Those negatives ARE positives. But not in all environments. She needs to find her lane and stop jumping from hither to post demanding that those that don’t like her to accept her. Thats kinda nutz.

@jontabroussard55 It's both really. Take The View as an example. Someone like her, who wasn't afraid to question the teachers in Florida, a school system allowing PragerU of all things to be used as a credible teaching source, really had no business being on that show. We all know they don't really have relevant conversations like that. People wanted to get on her for not being super expressive of that other lady's marriage announcement, and now she's divorced from the guy a few years later. Sure, she comes across as a victim in some cases without context passed the headline and blogs, but a lot of people just don't like her because she's very frank about things and make that her problem entirely instead of addressing their own insecurities over what she's saying. Is she a know it all, or do some people need to read more?

If Marsha was already mistreating her, why would she expect her to do something? 2. If Marsha wasn't going to go to Natalie's level to defend HERSELF, why would we think she'd do it for someone she supposedly doesn't like and is mistreating herself?
