John Galliano is a fashion designer and artisan born in Gibraltar and raised in London. He was part of the 1980s and 1990s pop culture era dressing flamboyantly and attending Central Saint Martins Art College.
After financial difficulties, friendships with Vogue, High Society socialites and Investment bankers helped John Galliano to show his haute couture and ready wear collections in London and Paris.
He was appointed creative director and chief in design of luxury fashion brands Givenchy and Christian Dior.
His career was destroyed after an incident in a French Brasserie but he was recused by his latest appointment at Futuristic fashion collective Maison Margiela
