@GenieCruz Men are adaptive, sis. Since women control the front end of the dating market, i.e. everything up until sex, men’s adaptations are to get sexual access from women. And they are all very intentional. In 1920, over 100 years ago, according to the data, 85% women were virgins on their wedding night. And women married at 21 years old on average. In 2020, according to the data, only 5% of women were virgins on their wedding night. And women married at 28 years old on average. Promiscuity changes women’s brains. Women have changed, becoming more masculine, more aggressive, working in the work world more than ever, longer hours, etc. Plus, social media allows women access to unlimited men. And western women participate in this. So men have adapted to continue gain sexual access. Men did not need to be toxic with 1920s women because those women were pure and innocent and they were not traveling, “living life”, texting multiple men and going on lots of dates. And the girl’s father was involved in mate selection. So, honesty and pure intentions worked well. Virgin women are very trusting. When a woman is choosing from a dozen men texting her, and dozens more DMing her, and she’s slept with 5+ men, the man who seems the most high status, has the most options, has the most money, has the most height, has a reputation, and appears most aloof often wins out. So, toxic men win. Men built the world you live in, the buildings, the roads, the inventions, all the modern technology. Men are problem solvers. Toxic men is solution to a mating problem. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

I’m currently going through this now even though every relationship I’ve been in all men have had an issue with my hobbies. I’ve been a fighter, model, and car videographer for a very long time. Most of the time this is how I’ve met men and every single relationship I’ve established men all of a sudden have an issue with all these interests no matter how much money I’m making. It’s heartbreaking knowing that I may never find a man that supports my interests yet I’m supposed to give up my whole life so they can place me into a cage and cover my light. “Sticking together for the kids” has always been a little dumb to me. My parents are still married, yet my dad lives out of the country and barely is home 3 months out of the year. We speak on the regular, but he is ever *there*. My best friend has had divorced parents longer than she had married parents and yet they are both in her and her brothers lives as well as being friends. “Sticking it out for the kids”, make is worse. If you are truly not right for each other, divorce and co-parent. Not doing so will only make the parents bitter and the kids guilty
