Most Real Video out there. I'll relive my youth thru you vicariously. I used to do Enduro's from my 20's till mid 40's. Ill be 60 in a few months and don't have the endurance any more. Still love to ride and do. The bitch is, I can do pieces of what the race was, but not for hours. So I'm out. Ya racing with bottlenecks adds a whole other level, you can't carry speed, you feel your cutting guys off if you fail in front, and you don't want to wait cause you will NEVER get a clean shot. Very cool video, great job. I get you, watching you fail at stuff I know you can do, but your wiped out of energy towards the end. These clubs have to make a course for the older rider, we would pay to get our Asses kicked like that, just not that bad I got a buddy, who is 74' has a Christini 2 wheel drive, I always wondered how much better one could do with the little extra help on stuff like this. Keep the rubber side down !

Enduro racing is definitely a blast! I raced motocross from a young age in the mini class through my late teens. When I was in the military a friend got me into enduro racing. Later on, road cruisers pretty much took over because whenever I would PCS, there may or may not be accommodations for dirt bikes. But there was always a place for street bikes. Now I'm 56, retired, and have absolutely zero business on an enduro track of this caliber. I have a DR650, and I cruise trails "old man" speed. My days of this stuff are long past. But I'd pay money to be able to do this type of riding again. There's nothing quite like it. I watched the whole video, so in your words, "I'm insane."

I watched the whole thing. It was very challenging (to watch and to do). You did pretty well (in comparison to others and considering this is your first one). If it was 6 months ago, I assume that you have improved. I bought a scrambler in December 2018 and I have only done one "fun enduro". I have a lot to learn. Nice job! Interesting to watch from the perspective of someone who doesn't live here. You are right Rocky Ridge is no joke when it is muddy - slicker than owl shit, and takes an hour just to wash the black clay gumbo off the bike. I was shooting photos and didn't do the race, but we ride Rocky Ridge all the time. If you're ever down this way again you should ride it when it is dry - much more fun.
@EverySingleSunday4 жыл бұрын
I would love to come ride it again, but unfortunately its a long drive from San Diego, CA. I live in a place that we get 8 or 10 days of rain per year and everything is sand or rock so it never gets slick. Diving down some of these slick chutes really blew my mind and made me pucker a bit Excited for next year :)
