The amateur is a natural talent. Settings can be learned, but you can't teach "eye".

It's so much easier having a pretty model to photograph who can model decently well, than let's say a model who IS an amateur, a family of screaming kids, or someone who is just plain awkward lol

Georgia's photos were great! You have the important stuff like angles and composition so those aspects will only get better. Now you just need to get comfortable with your camera. Should shoot P mode and learn about selecting focus points and exposure compensation next, that gives you a lot more creative freedom!

As beginner portrait photography I stand Jessica for being so supportive to her, I mean so many photographers out there are so selfish if their work that they are no bothered. I get inspired by this type of videos to keep trying just love it.

Just wondering if you would ever shoot some pulse sized models, would love to see just some different sized people. Also you don’t shoot many men maybe it’s a personal choice but would love to see more of a selection of models.

Such a breath of fresh air seeing photographers (beginning and advanced) confronting their self-doubts and admitting their mistakes. Too many of us, especially male photographers like myself, feel the need to present an image of ourselves as "perfect, error-free" photographers, which is simply untrue. I bet this video has done more to encourage photographers at all levels than most photo classes. Great job!

It's cool to see Georgia outside of her comfort zone...when she did the modelling for the 4 photographers episode, I was amazed at how well and professionally she modeled but here you actually get to see her feel/act shy, so adorable lol

Kudos for leaving the shutter speed error in the video, most "professionals" would have left that on the cutting room floor. 💪

This is my new favorite video from you now. I loved this so much. Everyone of different skills and backgrounds working together in harmony and giving positive reinforcement. Beautiful.

My husband and I took up photography as a hobby at the end of 2019. We love going to the river and taking nature photos. Landscapes and wildlife. We haven't taken pictures of people yet. He has absorbed the technical details regarding the settings like a sponge while I'm still struggling to get that information to stick in my head. However, according to him, I am better at spotting some animals and predicting what the animals are about to do. Not sure I believe that but I got what I think is a fantastic shot recently and have been considering entering it into an amateur photography competition.

when the model is pretty nothing else matters. every shot comes out great xD

One obvious difference is amateurs use the strap and pros don’t.
