You may have had training to learn this craft, but from what I saw in this video you have been blessed with a natural talent that not many people have. I was amazed at how precise you are with every detail. Great work and a Beautiful Table. I would like to see you wear a mask to protect your lungs from the bacteria on the wood and from the chemicals you sprayed on it. May God bless you and your work.

An excellent job, the only but is the finished one, it erases the saw marks so that it gives a truly professional touch 👍

I love your level of craftsmanship. A few suggestions, add dog holes and hold downs to your bench, cut off your waste using the bandsaw before running through the planer because it will save damaging your planer blades, use a push stick because it might save your fingers/hand one day, consider using a wood patch (dutchman) to cover blemishes in the wood, use a breadboard edge to finish off the table top, and research Japanese Joinery and American Craftsman Movement to refine your design. Great work.

The table turned out great. If this is going to be used As a kitchen table, you should fill the hose with epoxy. I think it would look better with the hose filled.

Maybe instead of epoxy…drill the holes on top out to a consistent size…like 1/2 to 3/4 inch and fill them with dowels…turn the end grain to match the grain of the wood as much as possible…it would still be all wood that way and the holes in the top would be filled. A hole saw could be used for the large hole on the top and the same thing done. Just my thoughts, Otherwise the table is beautiful. Just wouldn’t want gunk getting in the holes…especially if it will be a table for dining.

I want to like this. But like he could have plugged the holes on the top of the table and sanded them flat. And it made my physically wince when after all the precision work on the wood, the screws on the bottom to fix the table top to the legs were just random. Ugh.

The book provides clear illustrations kzfaq.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO diagrams that cover many of the essential topics. The projects at the end of the book are valuable for enhancing your skills and creating your own furniture. A digital platform linked to the book that could offer the plans for other woodworking projects with the cut sheets would have been a nice addition, but overall, the book is excellent.
