This is a complete review. You did a very good job. I always wanted to see how notification messages either from sms, whatsapp or twitter looks in the reviewed smartwatch. No other youtuber do this but you did. I hope you keep at it.

I don't own Hey 3S so I can't talk to much about it. If I look at specification written here: en.weloop.cn/Product/Hey3S Hey 3S is better in water resistant aspect. It is Water Resist 5ATM which mean you can use it while swimming. On the other hand, Amazfit Bip has Barometer and Altimeter sensor. The hole in the amazfit bip is for measuring the air pressure. When we use compass it works for measuring air pressure.

Although the watch is IP68 certified, I've used the watch in the ocean for swimming, kayaking and sailing, despite being submerged for long periods, the watch still functioned perfectly and did not have any problems. It also worked perfectly after I went for a few hours of swimming in a swimming pool.

Good for you bro 😉 But for me, I don't want to push my luck 😀 For anyone who want to try swimming with Amazfit Bip, my suggestion is: at least try not to push button under water. The water might leak when button move.

IP68 I think means it's certified for submersion but not from water sprays like rain or faucet pressure. It needs a separate certification for water spray resistance.

Great video! Thanks. As others have mentioned, the small hole is for the barometer. I believe that the Chinese version supports Chinese and English but the international version has support for French, German, Portuguese, etc.

Thank you for this detailed tutorial, i've just ordered mine and i have currently MI Band 2 i use it with a third party application called Notify & Fitness i hope the is app can be synced with the Amazfit as this app is a must have for every smartwatch very customizable app.

Awesome review man ! I noticed that the background of watch display sometimes blue & sometimes black...is there some setting or light condition?

If you saw it in same Watchface in this video, maybe it's just my camera settings or cause by different lighting. There is no "background" color settings. But we can change the back light brightness. Also, we can easily change the watchface (we already made a video about it, check video description).

No, this blue light will not visible 🙂 And in normal use, we will rarely turn on the light as we can still view the screen quite clear (especially at day time) without have to turn on the light.

Yes, I still use shotcut. But for image effect, such as moving "hand" (pointer) at the beginning of the video, I use VSDC video editor. So, 90% of this video edited using shotcut, and 10% use VSDC.
