Damn, I love the look of this watch. I have an iPhone and HATE apple watches, but want a good looking fitness tracker, that has some nice looking watch faces. Only thing I wish this had is a bio impedance sensor to measure body composition.

0:51 I ve had a GTR2 New, I liked everything except the slow raise to wake-up of the screen, I decided to change it to a GTR4, it has the same problem, the screen wakes up for ages, when you raise your hand you look at it like an idiot, switching is sensitive/normal, reset to factory or change watchface does not change anything... P.S. And they periodically stop syncing with the phone, and you need to do it manually.

Good preview! Can you tell us 2 things 1. Does the watch color look silver in person or does it have a hint of gold or copper tone? And 2. On notifications, does it show most of the common emojis or are most of them shown as an unsupported image (Blank box)?

Thanks for the detailed review. Whenever I get a call, the notification doesn't show the caller's name even though the contact number is saved on the phone. It only shows numbers. But during the call it shows the caller's name, the issue is in notification only. Could you pls let me know how can we sort this out?

I think it's a bug in the software. I'd reach out to their support team and see if it's known or they are working on it. I have the same issue

@@ajeetshekhawat214 I'd send in a support email, I find that it's easier for them to pass along the information to the engineering team when it's in written form with screenshots etc. People on the phone don't typically have the ability to take the proper notes on with the actual issue is and passive to the right people. That's been my learning with most tech support at most companies anyway

Can you save a custom countdown timer? The GTR2 is unable to save the custom countdown that you set on the watch so you have to set it every time...

Yes you can it has presets but you can press the + button and make your own. You can also set it and leave the timer app and it will continue in the background!

@@Comm_Quest Yes I know you can make a custom one and let it run in the background but will my custom timer stay there once it stops at 0? For example I want 25 sec breaks between my workout sets. Do I have to set 25s manually each time (takes more time to set...) or can I save that 25s for later use / will it remember ?

They said no more pro models. Biggest improvement over gtr 3 pro is the bigger battery everything else is the same.

@@Comm_Quest I was wondering the same but Amazfit is trying to make it seem like Zepp 2.0 is some "major" upgrade. I actually want to buy the GTR 3 Pro (Gold special edition) but it doesn't have Zepp 2.0. Doesn't seem like much difference in the software though

@@Comm_QuestI've been watching so many reviews of the GTR4 and the new Balance to try to find the answer to this question and it's really disappointing to find that you can't clear them from the phone. Triaging notifications would be one of the main benefits of a smart watch for me. Is this the case with all non-WearOS smart watches or just an Amazfit thing? Thanks
