Great video! What if you somehow breed your own Arowana at home fish tank? Do you need to register the baby fishers?

Breeding does not need to be registered but if you want to sell, then it will depend on your government's rule. Anyway, this is a market practice, if you do not register and put micro-chip, your arowana will not have a recognised value in the market.

I believe the incubator also heated. Inside the father Fish is not just for protection. But also his warm temperature helps to keeped the babies warm. The adults Males & Females Fish will eats the Eggs. They are highly nutristional. I saw the mother ate 3 of her own here.

There won't be worm I the father's mouth because arowana is cold blooded. Arowana lives in tropic and the water is warm all year round.

No, silver/black/pearl (jardinii) do not come with chips/certs because they are not endangered and protected under CITES/IUCN Red List. The Asian arowana (endangered) is still the only species required to be chipped and certified, starting with the cheaper green/grade 2 red/grade 1.5 red and upwards.

In the natural environment, more than half of the baby fish will be eaten by the mother or other arowana in the pond or river. The father will no longer protect the baby fish when they are able to swim.
