The stroke length could have been increased, by machining a cam, instead of the bearing...or you could have used a bike's over head cam instead...

So correct the agitation motion is not that good, only 3 or 4 saw tooth will touch the cutting area

Seria mais fácil colocar um disco de corta madeira na esmeliradeira . Não vejo vantagem demora um tempão pra corta uma madeira fraca dessa uma madeira mais dura demora uma hora.

Lástima se pierde tiempo viendo a estos farsantes, con sus ideas locas, ahí se mira claro cuando enciende la pulidora (en mi país)como tiemblan las tuercas y en que cabeza cabe hacerle un agujero a un serrucho queda débil...y el serrucho es un hoja de vaiven tiene que abarcar todo el largo, y siempre tiende a trabar...lástima por el pie de rey o calibrador fue sometido a mucha rayadura y el tornillo donde se fija el disco,se pierde mucho tiempo viendo a estos farsantes

Why don't use circular blade for the saw?You can also use grinder whit circular saw for wood cutting.

Amazing build, small criticism for everyone to consider. There is no point in having the teeth below or behind the box. You would benefit greatly to performance and safety by cutting away the unnecessary metal. I’m sure you’ve already knicked your knuckles lol I would also build a boot and shorten the blade to mitigate the vibration

No se cuanto puede costar una sierra mecanica pero esta bastante claro que si tienes las herramientas correctas suficientes te ahorras un dinero muy curioso 👍

Yo si no haría eso muy peligroso, donde hay tornillos y hay vibración se aflojan las tuercas ahí se mira claro cómo se aflojan esas cosas,cuando corta el tronco ya esta adelantado eso es muy duro inclusive con un serrucho porque siempre traba el vaiven en los dientes, y tiene que usar todo el largo del serrucho, estos vídeos insultan la inteligencia de uno,yo tengo caladoras especiales para cortar troncos y es difícil cortar por la fuerza o torque se debilita al aplicar fuerza, lástima porque se pierde tiempo viendo a estos farsantes

The amplitude of the tooth stroke is too small. Need a small tooth or move the saw back and forth during sawing.

Instead of a saw head, consider a file for metal. Or make them interchangeable. :)

It's a ok build but I would have just went to the store and bought a reciprocating saw.

Then you have to make extra space for it in your house store and your portable carry bag and have to get 💪🏻 bigger muscules to carry😁 and in case you use cordless : have to watch the extra battery charging operation. Moreover the blade in receprocating is softer than this saw as I think, so not exactly same
