Awesome review bro. I never noticed the hiss with mine but a bad batch is always possible. Same as we saw with the Soundcore L2P along with other earbuds in the past few years. Production variance with TWS earbuds is a real thing. Nice catch! Despite having a different experience with mine I'm glad you pointed this out and shared your experience with your viewers. If some of them can't see the value that you provide then there is no helping them. Keep speaking your truth bro. Your true supporters know you have their best interest at heart. That said, these are still an excellent choice in my opinion. I did hear about a recent firmware update that changes the sound. I think it's worth trying out in hopes of a fix.

Great review I have had the tevis for around 5 months now. Best purchase I have made. There is no hiss or for that matter problems with pairing. I also run and do vigorous exercise most days and do not have an issue with them falling out.

@@floatyseagull9472 been using my Tevi for more then a year now and to me it's comfortable. At times I even forgot I was wearing them. The most important thing is ear fatigue where most expensive earbuds do have when you wore them for a long period of time and the Tevi with it's wide soundstage, there is no fatigue in it. The touch control, could have been better but not a deal breaker for me. Some complaint when you press on it, it will push the tip deeper but once you know how to press it, it doesn't push the tip deeper in. Now there's an app which will definitely make those bass lover like it more. Oh..ya..I even used it while showering at times cause forgot to take it off.

The bass is absolutely lacking, but that's a personal call. They have the least bass of any IEM/earbud I've owned. I guess to some people any DD bass is too much, but most people would prefer something like Galaxy Buds bass, which is quite a bit more.

All ears are different, also most of the time the culprit is a poor seal in your ear canal due to the earbud being too small or not placed in properly.

I just bought some Lypertek Tevi's and I am able to pair them to another device without having to go into the settings of the previous device to disconnect. I keep seeing reviews where they say you have to disconnect from one device to connect to another and how this is a disadvantage to having these. But in my usage, while still connected to and playing audio from my S10+, I was able to pair them to the Tab S7+ without doing anything on the S10+. All I had to do was long press to turn the earbuds off. Then turn them on again and double tap to go into pairing mode. They paired to the Tab S7+ without any issues. I also noticed that they seem to get noticeably louder when connected to the Tab S7+.

Got the Tevi's a few months ago and really enjoy it especially the battery life which is insane. Literally charge the case every 2 weeks. I found myself agreeing with most of what was said, sound quality is amazing (and the recent firmware update gives it a bit more bass). I use the 'pinch method' to use the buttons on the earbuds and got used to it pretty quickly esp since you can control everything including volume. Connecting to another device is a bit of pain I agree . I have to put it back in the case, disconnect bluetooth on my current device and then take it out and itll connect to the second device I havent noticed any hiss in the earbuds interesingly 🤔🤔

I don't even place it back in the case. Only disconnect the Bluetooth and then connect the BT on the device I want it. Usually will be moving from laptop - phone or vice versa. Edit: the hiss is very seldom but it's not a deal breaker cause the sound signature is much better and can rival those double or triple the price. Tried xm3, momentum 2, galaxy buds, airpod pro, b&I, liberty 2 pro, and a few more end up with Tevi...no regret at all. Only now waiting for their new model, hoping to have ANC, ambiance sound...would be perfect then.

Not sure why u need to put it back to the case if you need to switch devices. I use mine by switching off the BT of the current device I'm on. Then it will say disconnected and connected to the other device where the BT is switch on. By then I switch back the BT that I switch off earlier so that when I switch off from that BT, it can auto connect to the BT that is on. I don't find it that hassle but yes it would be great if it could multi connect (hope the next model would have this function). Btw been using my Tevi for more than a year now. No regrets at all.

Double press on either the right or left earbud will get you into pairing mode after disconnecting from the previous paired device and no need to put them back again in the charging case. comply foam tips element pressing discomfort for me and enhances sound and stability . After software upgrade no hess noticeable for me. Btw, i am a user and i'm not related to Tevi's company what so ever. I just like those ear pods so much. Hope that helps.

Hey Mark! John here... great job on this video. I almost purchased these to use at work instead of my Senni's... because I was always a bit concerned about losing a bud or both at work. You said Anker told you regarding the Liberty 2 Pro that the hiss was 'due to the limitation of the current Qualcomm platform' . I am experiencing same audio hiss on my Creative Outlier Air TWS. I did an RMA but even the replacement Outliers have the same audio hiss. I had also bought a Soundpeats Trueengine SE which also had really bad audio hiss. And now you say that Lypertek Tevi has the same audio hiss. Guess the common chipset on the Liberty 2 Pro,Creative Outlier air and Soundpeats Trueengine Se and Lypertek Tevi. The Qualcomm QCC3020.Thats right !! Seems like the QCC3020 has a fatal flaw. Oh and in case if some troll says my hearing is defective,i have the original galaxy buds and galaxy buds plus and the AKG N700NCM2 and they do not have any audio hiss issues.

@loreleileong4071
@loreleileong4071 4 жыл бұрын
Not that experience when it come to TWS but for my wired setup, audio hiss is usually caused by poor implementation of the pre-amp or amp or the source (either the recording or the DAC). It could be the SoC that causing the issue but I have the Soundpeats Trueengine SE as well as the the Creative Outlier paired with my Shanling M6 DAP and I don't hear any audio hiss. Have briefly tried the Liberty 2 Pro (borrowed set from a friend to test) and I also did not get the hiss, although I find that the music quality to be really weird though with the emphasised V shape frequency and weird treble peaks with some songs. Been wanting to get my hand on the Tevi as I like the neutral balance sound more.

I have a pair of those and there is absolutely no hiss whatsoever. I agree with the fit to a degree, they do hang out of the ear a little and can fall out, but the only time that ever happens is when I towel my head after a shower (they are waterproof and I wear them in the shower all the time without problems). Other than that, they are great. The buttons are a little stiff and the way the volume controls work is a bit annoying as you have to double press the button to go up (right) or down (left). I would have preferred the controls on the Jaybird Vistas, where you just hold the button and release when the volume is at the level you want. Sound is amazing and as mentioned above, there is no hiss.

No, hiss is definitely a small issue with these. It comes and goes and isn't too distracting, though

Been watching these headphones drop in price since they first came out. So far every pair that doesn’t fit your ears don’t fit mine (truengine example) so I’ll just pass on these . Thanks for the video

The battery back up for this product is absolutely bizzare, maximum battery backup for the buds is around 2hrs after using the product for a month, got it replaced thrice still the issue persists. I will suggest don't waste your hard earned money on this product.

It's nice review. As a consumer of India we find products later then you. I've ordered L2Pro twice but after watching your two reviews on it I cancelled the same. Now for this Lypertek Tevi you still says there is audio hiss but comments of consumers here denies and that is problem for me. So far the users experience and comments here i decide to buy the Tevi. Let's hope users would be true and will enjoy this buds . Thanks

The entire thing about hiss should be taken with a grain of salt. The bottom line is, the production quality is not high here. These earbuds are fairly inconsistent in quality. If you rummage around through reviews you will see that most issues are not consistent.

It seems reasonable minds may differ regarding the presence of "hiss." A commenter below who has them claims there is none, and two rather popular reviewers of earbuds on KZfaq, "El Jefe," and "Gamesky" and not noticed the hiss that you noticed. Maybe they are listening to the type of music in which it wouldn't be noticed?

I can confirm that there is definitely hiss on these buds in all units. But, if I can try to explain why others don't mention it (in my opinion): it's the type of thing that most people won't notice unless you start looking for it. Or perhaps, they don't mention it because it's not hugely severe? Plus, if you blast your music, you will no longer hear it - in quieter tracks or on podcasts, it's just about audible. Some may find it to be a nitpick, but whilst there's $50 buds out there with no hiss, I've got to at least point it out so people are away BEFORE they buy these. After all, we're talking sound *quality* and any hiss or persistent white noise in my sound isn't ideal. I'm not an audiophile per se, but I do have a massive pet peeve for hiss or audio static when I'm trying to enjoy music. That's just me! Thanks for asking though as it's a great question.

Had a very bad experience with Lypertek Pureplay Z3 and got no support for that. The glued parts are not properly finished. The joint in one of the buds is widening, I really doubt it is a IPX7 rated product. The the sound is good but not as good as hyped. It is brighter to the extend of being little harsh and fatiguing. Lacks refinement. You can hear little glitches while connecting, disconnecting, pausing and playing. The mic is horrible. The buds are bulky and uncomfortable for long listening. The company has serious quality control issues and no customer support. They are surely not worth the price, I regret buying this. Sould have gone for time tested brands.
