Simple carrot cake recipe.
Ingredients
300 g | 10 oz All-purpose flour
450g | 16 oz Carrots
200g | 1 cup Sugar
1 Lemon zest
3 Eggs
150 g | 5 oz Vegetable oil
150 g | 5 oz Walnuts
10 g | 0,3 oz Baking powder
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
400g | 16 oz Cream cheese
200g | 8 oz Sugar powder
200g | 8 oz Butter
Guidelines
Grate lemon to get zest
Grate carrots
Mix egg with sugar and zest until it becomes white
Add vegetable oil
Add cinnamon
Mix
Add baking soda
Mix
Add sifted flour
Add grated carrots
Add chopped walnuts
Great the mold
Water a baking parchment
Preheat oven 180C | 356 F
Bake 45 - 60 minutes at temperature 180C | 356F.
Cool the cake
For cream
Mix butter, a sugar powder.
Add cream cheese from fridge. Mix. Cool cream in fridge for 15 minutes.
Cut the cake into 2 parts. If it not cooked and have a liquid structure, bake it more.
Don’t use hot cake. Cool it.
Cover cake with cream
Decorate the cake with walnuts and rosemary
Store the cake in fridge
