So for them to put the Belmont Flyer there, they decided to knock down nearly all of the buildings.

Yes, they knocked down many buildings for the flyover and re-alignment of the red and purple lines.

I think I've already replied this (youtube now often scrubs comments or replies), but the whole queerness had been as though that announcement was hailing a third parallel to be following, to be monitoring, thus I found myself discombobulated

You mean to tell me that several apartment buildings HAD TO be demolished just to build the 🟥🟪/🟫 By•pass?? THAT'S NOT GOOD; I'm glad this video was splitscreened or else I wouldn't have found out.

It is sad. Some larger residential building and also some cool bars and restaurants. There was an absolutely amazing Irish restaurant O’Hagans that was torn down.
