The power cancelling power of Michael Smith time after time by the 6th leg put the real fear not to miss into MVG. Smith won a leg after MVG was on track for a nine darter. That is what it takes to knock Mighty Mike off his game. I can imagine Mr. "calm cool collected" Smith getting in his car after this, rolling up the windows and screaming "HELL YESSSSS !!!!"

Smith is the worst top 8 player in darts far to inconsistent. He’s just lost the match play final to cross 16-14 down cross on 223 smith on 161 and goes for the bull. Comes back with 2 instead of 3 at a double cross hits a 180 and smith misses and he ended up losing 18-13. Shows his lack of maturity in the sport this is why he’s not won a major tournament and why I don’t think he ever will he tries to be a showman rather than get the job done.
