Amazing Diy: Water Gel base

just follow the list ingredients and formulation to make your water base gel that is suitable for topical aplication, base serum and lotion.
nuetralize with TEA to get pH range 6-7.
TAKE NOTE:⬇️
👉 the gel looks cloudy at first due to mixing process with high speed of grinder. This happend because it produces a lot of small bubble in it. After a few moment, the gel will turn into clear translucent perfect gel.

Thanks for the video I just made it and added Aloe Barbadensis Extract and it turned out fab!! I will now use this same formula to make an over night hyaluronic gel mask . It's so versatile and can adapt it to make so many products.

Great! I saw how fast this mixture thickens with the higher pH. Carbopol is polyacrylic acid. This is why it has an acid pH. Pretty sure this is the same stuff added to acrylic emulsion paints to make them gel up with short rheology.

can we add aloe water instead of distilled water .. or half half ratio of both ? can we make orange,grapeseed,lemon or other infused herbs water or citric juices to make gel with this formula ? how to store and whats the shelf life ?

Yes. With a preservative, 1 year. Just be sure pH is adjusted as needed to thicken.

Recently bought carbomer 940 following your recipe but I think it's not real as it doesn't gel up after neutralisation and pH is 7 already then goes up to 10 and I tried to use more which seemed to worked but didn't need pH adjusted could this be pre neutralised powder but they sell it as carbomer 940?

Yes dear, once leave for a few hours it will become clear. This is because the hand mixure form a lot of small bubble. For making lip glos i dont think it is appropriate
