Wonderful video.....thank you. I needed that. Rescued a 3.5 yr red merle aussie named Mate, 7 months ago. Had to re-socialize him with "all" animals, dogs especially. Male or female. At first it was to the death......even puppies. Now he plays with adult dogs,pups,herds cows n steers,doesn't want to hurt or kill anything. If any animal whimpers,or human,he is first there to comfort them. Now he even likes cats and birds and chickens and such. When it comes to wild animals....deer,foxes,guinea hens,ferile cats,skunks,etc., he approaches,stands off,circles and escorts off the property. Only dog I knew that could escort a skunk off the property without getting sprayed,laughing.And to think....for 3.5 yrs of his life he was raised in a 3x7 foot dog run. See what a little "love...exchanged" does....God Bless him.....:)

Such a beautiful dog. I never knew much about how dog training works or what it takes to do it. Totally agree. My bossie aussie is the greatest thing ever. She's my shadow. Wherever i go she's right there next to me. I've taught a bunch of tricks since my first comment. It's amazing how fast they learn. My aussie has tons of energy but thats the breed. I could throw her "chuck it" ball a million times and she will still want more.

I have a mini and shes learning so fast. She can fetch really well and sit and lay down well. Do you recommend any youtube channels that can help me with training her? I've only owned cats so this is a bit of a change for me. I would love to teach her all the trick i've seen on you video. I'm a stay at home dad and all I do is hang with my Akita Jack Russel and my bossy Aussie. So I have all the time in the world to train her but just really don't know where to start. Thanks for responding.
