Hovland's downswing is sick. Probably never ever hits it left.

I still think DJ should be in there. In terms of pure athletism and sheer number of wins.. (regardless of wether of which tour he's on)

You could say that about many golfers, but this was the top ten golfers in the world when this video was made. I would argue there are better swings to copy like Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen, et al. Most people shouldn't try to emulate Hovland, Rahm, or Scheffler.

@@cheemomugdoo799The only reason people are obssessed with Adam Scott et Al is because the GolfChannel and other media keep saying they are pretty. Because they mostly don't have any else to say during replays... But I agree they are pretty but overall consistency and number of wins matters more I think.

@@VoodooZ yes, it is a very attractive swing, but also a very basic swing. It has a lot of things going for it that most amateurs should strive for. When you look at the swings of guys like Victor Hovland, and Bubba Watson, there’s a lot of idiosyncratic positions and movements that most average players shouldn’t even bother looking at. The less complicated a golf swing the better for most people. I think Rory has one of the best swings on tour that is realistic for most people to copy. It’s just that his speed is so much higher than us mere mortals can attain with any consistency.
