That reversed single crochet stitch you do is called crab stitch. Beautiful button, perfect for cardigans😍

I’ve also seen the Reverse Single Crochet/Crab Stitch referred to as the Knurl Stitch. It’s one of my favorites, love how it looks.

THIS A GREAT, REALLY PRETTY. It needs to ne done with quite a coarse yarn so it isn't soft.

This is very pretty and would be perfect for a cardigan I'm currently knitting. I only know the very basics of crochet but your video looks nice and easy to follow. Can I just confirm that this is an actual button which can be used the same as bought ones or is it decorative? I was expecting some kind of cover to put over a plastic button but this is nicer. Thank you 😊. (sorry I'm not on Facebook).
