I use good conditioned clay . You can add a bit baby oil to soften your clay .

Шикарно получилось! Я сначала подумала, как жаль, что цветной слой закрываете ч/б слоем. А потом поняла, что полупрозрачная глина и её не видно будет. Очень красиво и действительно похоже на стекло!

I have been to Venice and went to the island of Murano to buy some glass, and this diy version is just as beautiful ! 🥰 You can call yours Fauxrano glass 😀

This is a really cool technique. You are so creative! A person could do this to make all different shapes and sizes of "murano glass" peices and do lots of cool art projects not just jewelry. Like a "glass" sculpture lamp that you put a led bulb inside. This easily lets you custom shape and color your pieces. I once saw someone do a cactus lamp with green murano glass that looked so cook, but the possibilities are far more with this. Thanks for sharing.

I'm impressed with the Cernit translucent - it's super translucent. More so than the Premo, which doesn't go quite that clear on baking. I think Pardo does go that clear, but I've heard it's tricky to work with, and traps air pockets easily. Now I'm going to have to look for some of the Cernit, because this project came out looking great!

When I was little I used go visit my gran (who has passed away now) - she had a whole collection of morano glass - I always thought it was always so pretty. Thanks for the flashback memory.💜
