Just received my bottle. I am absolutely blown away by this fragrance. I had a feeling I would love it, but the only other Vetiver fragrance I have is Encre Noire. Thank you for helping talk me into it.

This is a SYK fragrance. One of the first Nishane's I ever tried and it blew me away. It does evolve quite a bit on my skin, but that's what makes it so interesting. Can come off a bit smokey-medicinal if sprayed too heavily, and I wouldn't recommend it for someone below the age of 25, but it's probably the fragrance that turned vetiver around for me. Used to hate it, now I can't get enough. Love the energy and enthusiasm Ash. A perfect review.

I own a handful from Nishane but I haven't tried this , so it's great to learn more about it 👌 the ones I own are all sensational. Definitely a house with incredible potential. Interesting composition that I may have to try at some point. Fantastic as always.

I have only smelled Ani but I have Sultan Vétiver, B-612, Hacivat and Ani on the way. I currently have a tester of Ani and love it. So I’m so excited to smell more from the house

I believe it smells like a beautiful, & luxurious French soap because of how the warm amber compliments the floral neroli while the different vetivers give it a nice depth.

Would love to hear reviews on Nishane Hacivat and Ani.

I love vetiver fragr and Sultan Vetiver is high in my collection. But first formulation was much better.But its still one of the best vetivers. Bought Hacivat.This frag makes me happy too.

I have to thank you Ash, after I watched this vid I went on my discount shop and blind bought this, WOW WOW WOW, I love this, really earthy vetiver darker than encre noir I got a 50ml I will have to get another bottle cause I will wear this a lot spring fall and winter.

I just purchased this perfume a week ago. It is the bottle that reads Mumbai instead of Instabul . I’m here scratching myself between how this review describes this perfume with how it smells to me. It is totally different. Mine doesn’t have the evolvement of vetiver scent throughout the wear. It is linear and quite soapy with this huge and overpowering neroli note. There is no anis but absinthe which goes not smell anything like absinthe but a booster to the neroli.

I own a few of their fragrances and they all smell great. Would have to agree tho on their quality control. Purchased Wulong Cha last year and there were fingerprints and scratches all over the cap

Great review, Ash. I love vetiver fragrances. My current faves are Guerlain Vetiver Extreme and Encre Noire Sport. In the fall and winter it’s Encre Noire L’Extreme all the way baby. 💪👍

You should try to sample ruh khus as it's called in India.. The facets you mentioned comes across wonderfully. It starts with green mossy fungus type opening and gradually transcends to fresh cut green grass to sweet earthy tone which lingers for hours.. it's the only scent which survives the heat here... Cheers

I always find vetiver to be too hidden in the composition, but not here. And that's why love it. It's a vetiver lover's dream. Nice review by the way.

It is a fantastic house. I often order fragrances form Etiket as I live in Canada, and paying in discounted american money comes to about the same. ANI, one of their new release has been praised over the top by well known fragrance reviewers...so I bought it. It is great. I am now waiting to buy "Fan your flames" from the same company. Certainly quality fragrances. I have a few vetiver fragrances, and I will check this one out in comparison the Hemingway from Masque Milano which also contains 3 different kind of Vetivers. Nothing in the Nishane line has interested me enough to want to shell out the premium price... until now. As a vetiver fan this has piqued my interest. A shame that their quality control on what is clearly an above-average packaging/presentation didn't extend to a closer examination of the cap. Nice review, thanks Ashton.

Just got a sample of this! For me you have to let it dry down and it’s unique and gorgeous. Just wondering if I can pull it off being a 24 year old. Overall it smells more for a maturer man....
