In this short tutorial you will learn how unbelievably simple it is to create stunning geometric art using things around your house. I'm using an old DVD and a plate, but you can use anything that is circular to make this. This is a great art activity to show that repetition is important when making art and that simplicity is the key to sophistication. You can do as I have done and use a single black pen, or you could add colour with colouring pencils or felt tips and you can extend the activity further by colouring the shapes within the pattern. This is also a great activity to do with pupils in class and beginner artists at home.
