However I wonder if the beansprouts and noodles were really properly cooked since they were only dunked in the hot water for about 10 seconds. And the water was not even boiling.

@@msbrownbeast those rice noodle are already cooked when they are made in factory. Just need hot water to make them soft and not cold is OK.
