No you can’t! This is years of living this way. She grew up in this kind of living. Believe me, I forgot how to do most of this work because I moved to the United States. It's impressive, though, how good she is. She is better than most men carpenter I knew.

Listen, I'm still trying to get someone to help me do the beautiful fish fountain in my backyard like the Asian guy in a video I watched does. This women is absolutely amazing, the time and effort for such a beautiful space is astounding. Definitely a very independent and skilled women. Younger girls could learn so much from a person like her. She makes me want to create things with my hands, but I could never do as good as her she is highly skilled at what she does. Whomever is recording this must be in complete awe of what she does and I’m jealous that I cannot see this in person so thank you for sharing this footage.

I know at least one of these channels (the first one that started the craze) was started by a young European guy who produces the videos and posts them to the channel. The cool thing is most of the income generated goes to the workers. These young women may have help building and carrying water but this woman has exceptional skills. These general building methods are common throughout SE Asia. The clay and building underground is a bit unique to this location due to the deep and very fine clay- they will use the finest and homogeneous deposits for the watertight basins and pools. My wife is from rural Philippines and can build the Nipa structures with nothing more than a machete. They make do with what they have around them and with imagination unlimited by building codes and what is available at Big Box hardware stores. I've spent a few weeks visiting her family and sleeping in these structures. At first the floors don't feel strong, as if the bamboo strips would fail and I'd fall through, but it's just the inherent flexibility of bamboo. It is VERY strong.

I think the only part in which special off camera stuff had to happen is the digging the pool part and maybe some help structuring the house, but that’s what I think.

Why not, it's not a great deal of work for her, I'm surprised anyone would just deny the fact she could actually do all the work there, she seems perfectly capable of doing that and a shit load more, maybe your one of these people that thinks they're better than anyone and you've just seen a woman do something you can't so your first reaction it just to deny the fact that a woman could do something you can't
