This is the first video of yours I've seen, after searching specifically for a finger picking tutorial for this song. I'm so impressed. Your finger picking is smooth and your voice is very pure. Thank you for sharing.

Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found T'was blind but now I see T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear And Grace, my fears relieved How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed Through many dangers, toils and snares We have already come. T'was grace that brought us safe thus far And grace will lead us home, And grace will lead us home Amazing grace, Howe Sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost but now am found T'was blind but now I see Was blind, but now I see.

Hi Lizzy! I've always been super happy with my Oscar Schmidt OU5, which is what I play in the majority of my videos: amzn.to/2MosKPX That was the first ukulele I ever owned and I've played it for about 10+ years now :) I like it because it has a bright, beautiful sound, and also holds tuning really well. If you're looking for something under $65, check out this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mduiY8hltLabd6s.html

Nice uke! Manufactured by who? looks like it's a bit wider at the nut.
@DylanLaine5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's an Oscar Schmidt - there's a link to it in the description box if you want to check it out.
@gregsullivan36685 жыл бұрын
@@DylanLaine Thanks for the reply. Do you happen to know the width of the nut? I am currently using a Kala and it is fairly narrow at the nut so I am thinking a uke with a wider nut would be easier to play, especially when finger picking. Also, is it a laminate? Oscar Schmidt does not provide much info on their website.

What a great attitude! And remember, don't place an expectation on yourself to get it right the first day (or even week!) that you practice. Allow yourself a few weeks of consistent practicing - 15 minutes/day, 5 days/week, and take joy in watching yourself get even just a little bit better each time. It's worth it!

This is kinda a strange place to ask about this but it's really important and I would like your help if you have the time, or anyone here reading this! My best friend of about 4 years recently confessed to me that she doesn't believe in God, she says she believes He exists in some form otherwise the world as a whole wouldn't make sense, she said she only thinks about Him on the rare occasion she goes to church, and that when she prays its more of a hope than praying to Him. She Also said she wants to believe in Him she just doesn't. All this time I thought she was a Christian bc that is what she tells everyone and told me. This makes me very sad. Just today I was imagining us spending eternity together in heaven and thinking how awesome it will be. She is VERY stubborn minded and this is why I need help in what I should say or do in response to this situation. I know I need to pray about it but wasn't sure if there was something I could say to her.
@lenkachladkova17625 жыл бұрын
Oh. This exact same thing happened to me 6 months ago. I tried talking her out of it, but she became even more stubborn. The only thing left to do is to pray and love her and encourage her.
@123itsmebri85 жыл бұрын
yeah, thank you. I will pray your friend sees the truth one day aswell!
