After spending fifty plus years as a Jehovah's Witness, my mother did not know what God's Grace was. She does now! Happy Birthday Mom. 80 years old and born again today.

Even though I'd been a christian, I still had an addiction to nicotine. I'd tried several times to quit, but would end up going back. Finally, I asked Jesus to break the chains that had me bound to my addiction. That was at .9 a.m. on Feb. 11, 2020 and after 50 yrs of smoking, I laid it down and have not been tempted when it was put in front of me. I have not had any withdrawals this time, like I did before. The many times I'd tried to quit before, I'd just want to eat and sleep and when it was put in front of me, couldn't avoid the temptation. I praise Jesus, because without Jesus, I couldn't have broke the chains!

Sitting here at 1:35 in the morning crying my eyes out, listening to this. I'm a born again, blood bought child of God as of March 3, 2020

God has saved my life. Writing this with tears in my eyes I can only hope and pray that someone who reads this will find comfort in the Lord as well.

A few years ago, I was on the verge of committing suicide. I was angry at the world and felt that God had abandoned me because I was being mistreated and bullied because I have autism. I thought God did not care and that I was better off dead. That night, I was lying on the floor when I felt this presence come over me. I then heard this voice in my head telling me not to go through with it. What I felt was like as if someone were hugging me. I found God and He got me back up on my feet. Today, I’m a college graduate and I have a job. Thank you Lord for saving my life. Amazing Grace! ❤

I am 58 and accepted Christ when I was 7. I have survived many challenges as those years rolled on...and my faith stood firm. Then, suddenly my my 30 year old son died of dilated cardiomyopoathy. It was then that I realized that truly untested faith doesn't have any value. Since his passing, it has been the worst 4 months of my life. But I hold strong to a God I know is True. A Sovereign God that loves me.

Sitting here with my dad who is deteriorating with Alzheimer's and we are having to make some difficult decisions about his future care. Dad has been a faithful servant for over 40 years. This song has really soothed him and I hope it ministered to his soul ❤️

This song makes me cry. My grandpa beat all odds with cancer and Parkinson. He lived longer then what any doctor said he would. Then the cancer really hit him and he went down hill really fast. He was a strong believer in Christ. My family around him they sang praise songs. My aunt sang this song to him and at the end he passed away. This song has so much meaning to our family.

We played this at my sister’s funeral yesterday. She was 44 and had a very difficult life, struggling with mental illness. The Lord has always been a merciful father to her and though the chains of mental illness didn’t break on this earth, we know she is whole in body and mind now, forever with Jesus. No more struggling, no more pain. This thought makes me smile through my tears. I love you Jaime. God rest your soul.

They played this song at Church at USMC boot camp and it helped me get through it. I prayed every night before bed that he would get me through safe. I graduated 2/14/2020 and I told him if I made it I would stay humble and give him the credit. God is good all the time!🙏🏼

I lost my Uncle David when this song was playing he passed away on February 11,2020 yesterday and I miss him so much and I will always love him he in my heart forever and he was like a best friend to me but I know I will see him again one day in Heaven.

You can overcome anything with God's help! All you have to do is ask! I prayed for help in overcoming my addiction to cigarettes/tobacco. I'd been smoking 50 yrs without any success of quitting on my own. Every-time I've tried to quit on my own, the withdrawals were bad in the first days. I wanted to eat and sleep all the time. I can honestly say it isn't bothering me this time. Yes, it's only been 25 hrs since I had one, but it is not bothering me this time. I praise God for that. My chains are gone!

My grandfather just passed away a few minutes ago. This was always his favorite song and he was the foundation of my family. My family only ever got together because everyone loved him so much. He was a preacher and the reason my father and brother became preachers as well. The reason my sister went into missionary work. The reason I want to go into business. That song has a special meaning to me, i,ve always loved it but the day i was diagnosed with cancer,i was driving home,crying and singing that song, it,s been 12 years and it,s been a journey that GOD put me on, from that moment took over and directed my every move. Being scared for a little bit like 2 days it was like GOD slapped me up side the head,and said hey! staighten up I,VE got this,HE said do you remember that commercial you saw on t.v., i said yea, it was for The Cancer Treatment Centers of America, i called them up within 24 hours i got a call saying i could come to their hospital, within 24 more hours Fed-x was at my door handing me 2 airplane tickets that they sent to me, i got a phone call telling me to pack my bags for at least 2 weeks, i,m thinking o.k. but where am i going, i had no idea except the tickets said the O'Hara airport in Chicago, and i lived in Florida, they said someone would meet me there,so off i go,this was also in the winter, Feb. 12th,2008 to be exact. i hadn,t seen snow since i lived in Pennsylvania many years ago. so when my husband and i got there there was a man at the bottom of the escalator holding a sign and he said we had to wait a bit for more people coming in,so now there was about 6 of us we all go outside and here,s this big stretch limo to take us to where ever,but on that way the subject of GOD came up and before we arrived we were all holding hands and praying, when we got there here was a huge hospital ,there was a tree with a small boy and a dog by his side they were flying a toy airplane,but then all of sudden here come people from everywhere to help us inside when i got inside it was like you could feel the presence of GOD in there,then more people came from everywhere just to help you, this was when i found out i was in a city called ZION, It didn,t dawn on me for awhile,oh my GOD sent me to a city called ZION, then later i met my whole medical team and my surgical oncologist and his team, HE was so perfect and so understanding. he then said he had to examine me whenhe did that i could just see his face expressions changed, i knew i was in pain and my skin was hard and black ,i didn,t know it but i was bleeding inside from the biopsy i had in florida, he said we have to get that stoped first before any surgery. so by the 19th of feb. i was operated on. and later went home in a few days ,but every few weeks i was flying back and forth from Florida to Chicago, And everytime i went the hospital sent me tickets, all this time the place of my employment paid me my regular pay and paid my insurance premiums,,GOD took care of all the little things that i was not able to even think about, one of the times i was there i was walking down the hall i heard someone say Betty,Betty ,i turned around it was my doctor,s nurse she said i have something for you,it was a book and on the front cover was a picture of my doctor,he has been voted the number one doctor out of 100 top cancer surgical oncologist in our country, i just stopped and cried to think not only did GOD send me to the greatest hospital in a city called ZION,But GOD gave me the best doctor. Sometimes i sit and think how did GOD put so many people in one spot just for me, GOD put me on an amazing journey that was and still is to this day unbelievable . GOD IS ALWAYS THERE

My Aunt Alfriedia just died :( but thank God she got to live a good life :(

While I was recently imprisoned, we had a group of WONDERFUL Church ladies, (Jocelyn James was one of those of those ladies) this song spoke to me when I got saved in Jail, it is POWERFUL, loved singing it then and STILL singing now. Thank you to all those who came to the jail and took time to spread his GRACE and spend time with us sinners, and I KNOW with all that has been happening the last five months, HE is REAL, and HE IS LOVE UNCONDITIONAL in His love for us, I pray for the lost, the non believers, those have strayed far from HIS Grace and Mercy, for I was one of you before HE sat me down for a spell. I gave up on Him when our three -- nearly four year battle with DHR/CPS ended in defeat for our family and we lost custody and our Parental Rights to our three PRECIOUS Angels, I with drew from life, from my BELOVED Husband, John R. Gorbich Jr.; I was slowly allowing the darkness to swallow me whole. Then, as He will do as a LOVING Father, said, Child you need to know that I am not the one to blame, that I did not take your children and that you are NOT unworthy, and I sat in County Jail for five months on charges HE, my husband and I know I AM innocent of. It took that awakening to realize that God does love me, that despite all the wrong I have done in my life, to myself, to those with whom I love and cherrish the most,m that I am WORTHY of HIS love, a second chance. Thank you God for Jesus whose blood was shed so that I may forever LIVE. GOD BLESS You ALL.

After 10 years of battling heroin addiction our son came back to the Lord; but four days before he was due to go to rehab he went out on a final binge and ended up falling in the river and drowning. This song is his testimony. The wonderful God who saved him and at his funeral 8 years ago 4 more people gave their lives to the Lord. What an amazing saviour we have. We had this song at his funeral as it seemed to say it all. Thanks Stuart Townsend this says everything that is in our hearts.
