Here is Stan Walker, The Levites (the band) and The Standard (the trio vocalists).. He is Maori from New Zealand. He won Australian Idol. He has, in recent years eperienced huge health problems and underwent surgery to remove his stomach due to cancer. The fact that he can still sing like this is miraculous.. God has truly anointed his talent.. all of his colabs with The Levites and The Standard are phenomenal ❤

Stan has or is about to do a tour of the US. Such a talented singer. He sings with his heart and soul. A walking miracle himself a survivor of a rare stomach cancer which to save his life he had his stomach removed. His gratitude can be heard in this beautiful version of Amazing Grace. A special shout out to the amazing backing group The Levites (pronounced Lee Vites (as in bites) Love from Australia where Stan grew up in Queensland but was born in New Zealand from Maori ancestry.

You have you check out his cover of "Don't dream it's over" by Crowded House..or if you looking for an original, try "thank you" dedicated to his mother... also as mentioned Stan is from New Zealand..also fun fact (not so fun actually, but just adds tho the greatness that's Stan) but Stan has no stomach, he has a rare condition that had it removed. He also had a very tough upbringing (theres a great documentary on it all)

Probably a couple of reasons why he's not as well known as he deserves to be: 1. He's from NZ whose music is generally not on the global radar therefore isn't recognised beyond Oceania/Pacific borders ie: Philippines, UK, US markets. 2. He prefers to make the music he wants rather than be a puppet to a Music Label.
