FYI, Orson Welles did the original War of the Worlds radio broadcast on October 30th, 1938. I have always been fascinated with the history of that broadcast. He was well beyond his time...and was incredibly talented.

Great Video! I love the idea of giving the clerk a list and having them wait on you. Many would also deliver to you as well if you lived within a certain distance. I get my groceries delivered from Walmart, because I hate grocery shopping.

NThis is the fitst time I have seen your channel n it is WONDERFUL how you showcased everything in this magnificent museum!!! I was born in 1957 n my family had all kinds of things like these products as I was growing up!!! My grandparents on both sides had MANY of these items, products, furniture, quilts, photos, etc. So it was awesome walking through this fabulous lost museum with you both!!! Thank you for sharing this GREAT place!!! Sm looking forward to seeing your "Haunted Hillbilly" channel, as that is also one of my family's favourites

"You'll Be The Last To Let Us Down" was a kind of tongue-in-cheek joke we would say about Morticians back when I was growin up in the 60's. In other words they were the one putting you in the ground or "Letting you Down". lol. I don't know where it came from or how far back, but it's like "People Just Dyin To Get In" when speaking about cemeteries. I have no idea the context in that little book, but that's what it was back in my time.

The coal carving is awesome. BTW if you listen close, when you went off on your own you can hear male voices in the back ground. They are faint but there and that was way before you mentioned the possibility of the bld. being haunted.

This is so cool i love seeing old museums and historical buildings full of stuff. Just imagine once upon a time , that was a bustling thriving area/Dr's office / store and whatever else. Looks like it was a stop on the railroad too? Video was a little distracting/annoying with your wife talking in background tho lol but otherwise so cool. ✌🏼🤗

cigarretts came in a pack, you took them out of the pack and put them in a hard case. Hog rings would be placed in the nose of the hog to keep them from digging. I was down in West Virginia years ago with friends at a flea market. I picked up a tool from a table. The man said if you can tell me what it is you can have it. I said, You clamp it in a bull's nose and you can lead him anywhere. He said it's yours. One of the ladies with me said can I have it I want to give it to my sister for her boyfriend.
