In this video I show whether correct by removing the ceramic at the end of sparkplug or sparkplug it can make better sparkplug performance and fireworks from sparkplug or spark plug it become more perfect, so it can make the vehicle become more powerful? Because there are many out there people who use the trick to remove the sparkplug electrode ceramics that are at the end of their spark plugs on the vehicle. the ceramic is there for a purpose . it stops the spark tracking back up into the body of a plug . removing it can cause misfiring and permanent damage to an engine.

Why destroy a perfectly good sparkplug ? I have seen brand new plugs misfire and i haven't found any solution but to give it back and change to a new.

Ceramic pada spark plug dipasang ada tujuan tertentu bukan sekadar untuk hiasan.Fungsi spark plug akan bertukar jika diubah bentuk fisikalnya yang mana berkemungkinan akan merosakkan injin untuk jangkamasa yang panjang.

The main purpose of the ceramic in the tip, is to control the heat of the plug. Remove it, and you will only have problems. If you want a better plug, get an E3 or something similar.

the electrode is there to stop the spark to jump to the rim and also performs the important function of transferring the heat to the body to prevent the overheating and possible melting of the central electrode which can cause autoignition that can destroy the engine

Jika mau menguji gunakan busi baru dan gres 100% bukan menggunakan busi rusak dah jelek lagi. Uji coba itu biar berkelas bukan uji coba darurat (motor mogok).

Jgarcia4195 and muzza 455 That's perfectly right guys, and that's exactly why the ceramics were designed to be there in the first place he he. You''ll create a hell of a problem on the engine and early electrode corrosion when used at a prolonged period. The plug will overheat easily without that insulation. Kang One, the presentation can be deceiving to some who doesn't have much idea on spark plug parts and the principle behind it on automotive or any engine application. In general practice, it is not recommended because of the bad consequences. But if you're a no-holds-barred type of guy searching for a trial and error thing, seeking a short climax, last hurrah performance, then the placebo might work for you depending on the type of plug you used and the condition/type of engine you're handling. I have no proof but I've seen this before applied on a small 2-stroke engine by some crazy mechanic he he. At least he's happy! The correct approach should be doing it right, it's universally safe and works in all engine types/conditions at prolonged period. There's always more to know to everything, and one clue isn't enough! For automotives, better experiment on side-gapping specific spark plugs where there are pros on performance and cons as well...and many more he he. Anyway, it would still be useful if the "after" sparkplug here was used in an alcohol gun or fireworks project. Nice video!

A trick that can help old sparkplugs to go a little longer if they have been wholly wet of gasoline and it doesn't help to clean it as normal is to heat it up. By fire or an oven (but don't microwave). They are built to take a lot of heat so you don't need to be very careful with this. A motor that doesn't start at first can get wet sparkplugs and ain't it annoying ? Even after a cleanup they can still refuse to fire !

maybe you didnt know the purpose of that ceramic insulation,,,it is there as an insulation in order to direct the current to the tip not in any direction... a tappered tip core is better than what you do.

It's a ridiculous idea. The ceramic is an insulator against heat and electricity. It's going to get hot and its life will be drastically shortened. I can see it having massive problems with arcing too. Spark plugs haven't changed on the whole for decades(although there are different materials and types available). I think there is a reason they haven't changed so drastically as to have the ceramic removed :-)

Betul, sy pernah beli busi yg 3kaki karna mau beli yg 1 kaki dr merek itu sudah tdak ada. +ongkir 56rb pas sy pasang lternyata benar filing sy lebih enak yg 1kaki, sy bongkar lg mau sy jadii 1 kaki, biar api lebih fokus, eh pas motong kakinya malah kena keramik tengah, dan patah kira² 1 cm persis ky di vidio pas saya coba apinya malah di dalam ga bisa kebagian kepala busi.

the center electode gets fucking glowing hot when removing the insulator and causes preignition and knocking. no! definitely no if your engine is a hot type. in case of a cold engine, maybe.

Mnurut sy itu hanya mitos. Krna slh stu fungsi keramik disitu untuk memfokuskan lonjatan api tepat ke ujung ground... jadi klo kita babat habis keramik, maka lonjatan api tdk konstan.. hanya pendapat saja. Sy membuat video ini hanya krna ada sbagian org yg prcaya kalo trik itu katanya berpengaruh. Ini trik lama utk mengatasi busi mati dalam keadaan darurat... Udah dr tahun 80 an... Pada tahun itu masih banyak motor 2 tak yg rentan busi mati karena penumpukan karbon pada keramik...penumpukan tsb bikin busi mati...krn arus listrik akan lewat jalur karbon...krn sifat nya semikonduktor .dr body busi lewat tumpukan karbon yg nempel di keramik sampai dasar busi.. Dlm kondisi darurat tinggal di pecah keramik nya..deposit karbon nya ikut keluar kan..busi jalan lagi...tp cuma tahan paling pol 1000 km... Cara lain busi di bakar sampai dwpoait karbon yg item jadi putih dan di bersihkan....tapi kan lama....kl sdg di jalan tdk mungkin di lakukan...

WTF. The ceramic is what set's the heat range for the plug. That plug will get hotter than a motherfucker. I'm sure it will pre ignite your mixture better than a standard plug though.
