Thanks for letting us know about the japanese hotel rooms being smaller then the american/western counterpart. I think it's good advice for those who are considering a hotel and might be claustrophobic or don't like tight spaces. Still though, the hotel rooms seem to look much nicer then what we have here in USA (albeit it's smaller)

I think they are still behind. A lot of shops are still accepting cash only.

Maybe the cost of coffee is high because in the old days like now the coffee comes from Brazil or Columbia. And the transport costs were high
