Today we look at Jumperless - an incredible software defined breadboard. We also look at audio on an AVR Arduino, ESP32 Arduinos with screens, and there's a new Icewhale server board in town - the Zimablade!

All prizes not claimed within 6 months will be put back into the prize pool. Please note that some items may require payment of customs charges when they arrive in destination countries.
Also, note that if something has a battery in it, it pretty much always means stress with sending them. These rules seem arbitrary and subject to constant change, so where possible, we'll ship things without the batteries and let you find one locally.
Electromaker contests are separate from the Electromaker store (I literally go to the post office to send prizes) so beyond giving tracking details there isn't a lot we can do if something goes missing.

That jumperless breadboard looks like magic. Really love it! As for music on microcontrollers, I used to make some greeting cards with just an attiny 85, a piezo buzzer, copper tape, and recycled memory cards and batteries from old cellular phones. Once the audio was reduced down to mono and 8khz wav file it would play on it. Could make musical card for €5 and make it personal. Also used it for other presents like a wedding ring box made out of thin MDF with a veneer. The stuff you can do with copper tape is amazing. I even explored the idea of grounding my runners with it as I kept getting static shocks when I walked on carpeted surfaces, particularly after I brought down a whole corporate network a long time ago when I touched a cisco switch and the pulse caused it all to reboot

Whoa!!😮The jumperless board is amazing. This would really help as a trainer. Even as such, I still would like one. Then add in using a T-shirt as packing material is fantastic.

I ran across Jumperless a couple weeks ago, and it's living rent-free in my brain now, begging the other part of my brain that controls the wallet to order one. #SIGMA project: jet engine simulator. Get that CPU running hot enough to run that little fan at full rev, and I'm sure it'll sound like it's taking off. :D

Jumperless is definitely worth the $400 price tag, and I'd absolutely pay it...if I could. I wish I could afford to support makers like these. If I had the disposable income, I think I'd be buying all kinds of maker things based solely on supporting the community...

I will use this to monitor my mini garden, growing tomato, and other vegetables. Will setup some cameras, soil humidity sensors...so that i can periodically monitor and water my plants automatically. #SIGMA Sigma will be central device to process the images with machine learning.

That breadboard handheld looks like the perfect project for creating with a Jumperless purchase. I love your idea to use the Zimablade Server for AI. I'm surprised you don't own a tablet... yet. I've a few with outputs, as it happens, (even an old BlackBerry Playbook) and my iPad is really useful on the go. Fantastic projects this week!

I keep thinking about jumperless, Combine jumper less with #SIGMA and Running chat GPT ( or similar AI ) on it. ChatGPT is right now able to only write code, but we can train it to build circults too. That's soo unique! I'm so happy that you mention jumperless and #SIGMA in back to back video.

I would use this #SIGMA has a central hub for all my IOT devices like Alexa and my person esp32 sense based monitoring system. And will try to host all this data on to a dashboard. So that I can control / monitor it anywhere from the world.

me and buddy got old laptop with display broken , and installed Linux mint. This #SIGMA would be the very good/helpful replacement to it. Trying to create a custom RISC V microprocessor writing our own verilog using iverilog and designing the physical layout using magic. Current setup is only 4 cores which is very slow . So Sigma with 16 cores would be the best upgrade Thank you

Getting excited thinking about this board! #SIGMA This would be very helpful for me. I would build a personal desktop with this for my electronics projects( started working on STM32 recently ) . Also would want to train the machine learning model which i plan to dump to stm32/esp32.

I've been using breadboard for years and have never understood why some boards have the power busses staggered by 1.27mm and others (K&H) do not. What is the reason?

Thanks for the overview! Sad that the zimablade has only one ethernet port, that makes it useless for an advanced nas where I need multiple real network interfaces
