Amazing. I loved the Hogmeads station and village. I would love to see a more detailed video tour of those shops and Diagon Alley. So many details to see.

i agree with Aussie Brick Chick! dont feel inadequate - feel inspired! you should see pics of what this looked like when i did my very first display - it was terrible!! hahah! dont forget, this has taken me 8 years to build :)

Donna Went would you document your updates on youtube, so you could eventually look back and see what you’ve accomplished

@@dmrbricks6673 i am currently in the process of organising an updated film... The trouble with doing this is that my whole display is only together at shows and i only do a few a year and i need to organise someone to be available to do the filming. We hope to get an updated done at our next show in May providing that show goes ahead. I usually only do the upgraded videos every two years so that you can see more obvious changes... But we do upgrade various parts of the display every couple of months.

Donna how do you make the shape of the castle without it collapsing, place the lights, find a cheap place to buy pieces and place the floor without it breaking im trying to make my own ive got video uploaded

Well it has taken me 8 years to build.... thats 8 years of making plenty of mistakes and learning new techniques and buying new bricks. Alot of trial and error. Over the years i have sourced the bricks from a variety of locations - new and old, from sets, ebay, friends, but mostly www.bricklink.com and from a variety of sellers, both from Australia and overseas. Some parts of the castle and flooring are more precarious than others but i try to use as much support as possible underneath and using as big a plate as a can to avoid joins.

Man there are ssssoooo many things i can add to this build... But i have only so much time, money and space to work with. I have plans for the next ten years! Lol! Who knows what i might add in the years to come! But yes, some more things specifically fro. The books could be fun

in the movie, there is a scene where Harry and Luna go for a walk into the Forbidden Forrest to see the Thestrals. Luna gives them an apple first, which they dont want, then she throws them a piece of raw meat which they devour. That is the scene i was depicting.
