In this video, we will take you up to the summit of Phu Chi Dao, the lesser-known brother and neighbour of Phu Chi Fa. A standard car will not make it up to the top so it's a long uphill walk or pay for a ride most of the way in a 4x4. You are then left with a climb of around 400m to reach the top. Unfortunately, our hopes that the clouds might be high enough to allow us full vistas to see were not to be. About halfway up from the 4x4 we were already in the clouds. So, we will have to come back another day for the full experience. Despite this we still had an enjoyable morning. It is difficult not to find happiness in the stunning surroundings of the mountains in Chiang Rai.
