As Italian I found very interesting and underrated Orange, nimes and arles are 3 stunning cities from archeological point of view, one of the best preserved Roman monuments there

Such incomplete list. There are more places equally important as Paris like Strasbourg, Annecy, Nantes, Lille etc ... Too much over highlight of Paris

Hello, Any recommendation for a place to travel in France aside from Paris. I would like do a solo to travel but i am a bit hesitant because i might get lost or the transportation is not that accessible for a first time solo traveller. Thanks

I know picking only 10 places in France is hard but you wasted 4 spots for Paris… Also I don’t understand why Lyon’s cathedral. It’s a nice one but there are several ones more interesting in France

The Palace of Versailles is not in Paris. It is in Versailles. That's about a 40-minute drive from the center of Paris when the traffic is light.

That’s very true but lots of people who haven’t been to Paris don’t know that!!! I think this traveler is trying to make it easier for those visiting Paris to stop over by Versailles & check it out!!! Instead of baboozling around Paris as there more Attractive attractions on the outskirts of town too. & if U don’t speak French; traveling via the Metro May not be that easy either!!!

@@atimgood6016 I wonder if that's what a lot of people think - that traveling by the Metro is not easy if you don't speak French. This is of course not at all true. I certainly didn’t find it to be true. And of course you can't get to Versailles on the Metro - you have to take a train there.

@@Reganland ……Yeah; the train is convenient & u get off right @ the heart of Versailles. I think it all really depends; if you’re A seasoned traveler; it’s easy. But we have friends that have been to Paris & struggled with getting in & around town; while we didn’t have any issues at all. All depends
