I've been to Reykjavik for a day once, on a Transatlantic cruise in 2013 & loved it & am thinking of taking an Icelandic cruise in August,2023! However, this video failed to mention where these sites were, in relation to the local cities & towns! While these locations are beautiful, they seem somewhat similar & difficult to traverse, for senior citizens, as we are! Would you still recommend this trip for older people?

The All thing are separates the European continent from the North American continent. I know because I had a photo taken of me with one foot on each continent while joking that with my luck there would be another earthquake and my legs would stretch longer. I also studied Geology in university.😃

I live there and if you don't like trekings you not see too much ,you can see island around by route 1 but the best to see is from June to September The most breathtaking is Kerlingafjoll,hveravellir Thorsmork Launntamanalagar -rainbow mountanies, raudafoss ,valey gjain Glymur Reykadalur River North (hauganes ,akureyri ,myvatn , askja, detifoss, asbyrgi) South shore from vik to jokursarlon lagoon During winter aurora on the sky , icecaves, trip to vatnajokull , alsow alot of spa I like geospa husavik , hranalaug wild hot spring I like vestmaneyar alsow and views of fjords
