We've been taking a good look at RC boats lately on the channel and this might be one of the best bang for your buck finds we've come across this year. The HELIFAR H106 definitely has a funny name, but it comes with just a couple extra things that separate it from it's competition. We love when something is what it says it is, as advertised, and love it even more when it comes with extra batteries!! The H106 comes with an extra battery, the self righting feature works great, and it's just so much fun to take out on the pond or lake. For the price, we love this little boat!

Good morning Saylors! Love this boat! With 2 batteries - a great value! I got a real kick out of when Abby, took it out further than you were comfortable doing, Nate! LOL Your reviews of these boats have been so thorough, from showing the cooling system, the self righting procedure, the controls & low battery alarm (on this one). It's great to show that a little water in the hull is to be expected, but not super harmful, too. Thanks again for your efforts & as always take very good care! JP

This one looks very cool for the money, one day hopefully all RCs will come with--or at least give you the option to buy them with--an extra battery. Some models seem to be very difficult to find extra batteries for. I also kinda like the idea of the traditional Tx for control, it seemed to give amazing range. Liking the 'addendum' pieces at the end of videos now too, it makes your reviews look complete. 👍👍

What do you mean the stick controls are weird? That's how we used to do it before pistol style controls became the norm for surface models.

Yep. Had several RC cars as a kid and they were all stick controls. The pistol style ones seem weird to me 😋

Bought this while ago. also the remote is the gearbest standard for drones. If you look at the remote in a certain angle, you can see a small drone on the LCD screen

Great video! Thanks for the honesty. You should try to mount your 4K camera on a boat next time. Would be interesting to see the video of those crazy turns and stuff, in the point of view of the boat.

@ RCSaylors: Thank you for a great video AGAIN. I love that you are mixing it up and focusing on boats. Super cool. Quick question, when did you guys change up the video style (I mean how you seem to wrap up the video but then keep going for another 30 seconds - 1 minute). Example: Showing how the boat had water in it after you seemed to wrap up the video. Its like the scene after the credits in Marvel movies lol.

Hey guys love your videos! I got a plane I think you should try out. It's the wltoys f949, it's only a 3 channel but in my opinion it's a great starter plane. I got mine RTF with 2 batteries for about $50 shipped. You guys are awesome, keep up the good work!

Hi I got one, the instructions shows a section called "lubrication oil on the spindle tube wall". Do I need to do this before I use the H106 RC boat for the first time or is it for maintenance purposes? Regardless, need help with the instructions in the booklet, specifically with step # 3 - "Screw Out the Motor Seat Screw / Figure # 3" and step #4 - "Remove the motor seat module / Figure # 4". Can't get the motor to come out and don't want to force the issue, any help or videos (step by step) on how to do this is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If that water is coming in around the top seal a smear of silicone grease on the seal should fix it. Easier than tape as it doesn't need replacing every time you have the top off.

Salt water can be rough on RC boats but with proper maintanence you can run them in the ocean. Just need to thoroughly rinse them with fresh water before putting them away after running them.

You do need to trim it a lot, have you found a way to get it to remember the trim settings, when you power off and change battery it does forget. Always slow reverse and I found quick reverse seems to let water in. But really nice boat.

I let mine air dry for 1h or so after use then put back the silica pack that sucks up the tiny amount that maybe left inside. I love the low battery warning. Run this in a friends swimming pool, of course not at full speed but with the lower speeds we get about 20 mins, the water cooling helps but the motor does get hot so we let it cool for 15 mins before running the second pack :), agreed we think this is one of the best value boats at the moment.

I'd put some plumbers foam inside hull Give it some buoyancy, keeps it from sinking did it in all my boats when I was racing nitro boats..

I would say yes you definitely could. Just might not want to go full speed around curves, as it could flip. If it does flip, it wouldnt be able to roll back over with the camera attached. 👍⚓😃

👀👀ing Which do you consider better the quad control or the hand truck control. This boat is as good as yesterday's. I figured it out. Ima's,, first name starts with an S.. You have Nate, Abby, Popeye. 🐶. Take the first initial of each. You get NAPS,which Ima will be doing alot of. So Saylor Naps.. Or liven it up. Move S to front you get SNAP.
