After seeing this compilation, I can only think of how nuts it would be to combine the technology of the giant, moving gundam in Japan, with the knowledge of Boston Dynamics robotics, with cardboard armor plating made by this guy. Scale the robot down to the size of a semi, make an exoskeleton the person could wear which tracks their movements and relays it to the robot, hook up a camera feed from robot to pilot.

Amazing. Great job. I've seen a few videos like this. I never thought of doing anything like this, but I should have realized the potential since I have made some pretty cools stuff out of cardboard. When I was kid, a suit of armor my Dad helped me with. Turned out great. For a high school science class, I made like a surveyor's transit to take position measurements of the moon. So learned what to expect, and not too expect of cardboard, but as this video shows, you can do great things.
