My first hike from my Sylvan Lake Cabin was amazing. I was amazed at the beauty of this alpine lake on the edge of the Wind River National Forest. I used this opportunity to test my new Grayl water filtration system. It was amazing (link below). But when I got back to my cabin the weather was looking ominous. So, rather than continue hiking I headed into town. But alas, I came across this homestead in a gulch. It was epic with all the beaver dams in the surrounding wetland. From there, I had lunch and came back. On my way back, I saw the most epic sight! I saw a moose roaming amongst the marsh. I'd never seen anything like that... it was pretty Amazing.
