When I am feeling stress or spending too much time in my own head, I come to your channel to get away and find a few moments of peace where I can wander around in another time and place. Thank you, Hans.

The treasure you hunt is in the ground. But, the other treasure is the beautiful countryside and scenery that you get to see along the way! Thanks for sharing both with us!

Intoxicating artful blend of aesthetic videography which includes nature, era specific music, archeology and a guy who speaks perfect Genglish keeps me coming back for more. Thank you Hans. Loved the Roman coin especially.

"Would have been a shame to've damaged this piece of tin foil." I truly LOL'd at that! 😂😂

Tip for anyone that detects. After you get a signal, use your pinpointer perpendicular to the surface before digging. They are very directional in nature, Then dig your spot, personally, I use a tulip bulb planter that removes a perfect plug up to 8 inch deep. After digging hundreds of coins using this method I have only ever hit one coin with the bulb planter.

Dear Hans, excitedly waiting for more wonderful videos. I know it's a lot of hard work and planning but I very much appreciate your work. When I get home from a 12 hour shift in the ER, it's relaxing to watch you detect, especially when you fine something awesome and you're "buzzing!" Thanks! Sheila

Whether it is a Roman hammered, 1911, 5 pfennig, old buckle, old rose head nail, as long it is a keep-able target, it doesn't matter what it is, it is a good find. History found.

Good to see you back Hans. Well done on another good hunt. I enjoy your videos because you do a good job with site research, methodical search patterns and best of all you capture the beautiful landscape that you are working in. Some times us detectorists spend so much time researching a site and plotting where to dig that we forget to stop and look at the beautiful nature around us. A forest on summer dawn, a field at winter dusk or an old foot path in late fall. Good Work and Good Hunting as always.
